The canyon was amazing; the tour experience, not so much
, Oct 2021
Seeing the amazing colors and formations in the canyon was well worth the trip. However, know that you may be jammed in with a lot of other tours all leaving at the same time -- it was very slow going because we had to keep waiting for the tour ahead of us to move on. So many people in the canyon at once was really disappointing. Felt like being in Disneyland. Also, there are only port-a-potties available at the check-in building (no restrooms) and I had a really awful experience using one. I won't go into details other than to say it was disgusting, and when I reported it to someone at the tour center, he didn't care. Had no response. Told me it was a complaint and walked away. I was stunned by his lack of interest in a serious problem they should do something about. So beware.

Viator charged more than it costs and send me to the wrong company, so I almost lost it. The place is amazing, but buy from Dixie Ellis or Kens
