My son and I had a great time. Saw monk seals on the beach and sea turtles swimming near the island. We had plenty of time to relax and snorkel near the island. Our guide Chad was great!

The water was too choppy for us to fully enjoy a day of kayaking but the staff were phenomenal! Flat Island was a great place to snorkle around.

We wasted 30 minutes trying to find parking. The employees were all over the place. We had 3 different people scrambling to try to get us set up. Then you have a giant kayak on a cart that you need to pull at least 1/4 of a mile. They give you a code to scan on your phone to figure out where to go, but not a water proof map to see where is safe to snorkel. Lastly, you go onto a beach filled with people. So if you’re inexperienced trying to get on a kayak with out smacking the crap out of someone I wouldn’t recommend. I’ve been on a few kayaking adventures, and the whole time until I got out to the water I was stressed. Also, just for reference it took us 45 minutes to get back to the shop after kayaking into the beach, and they worn you that if you aren’t back by 5:00 there will be a 60 dollar fee.
