8:00 AM
Begin your tour of Oahu's North Shore with convenient pickup at your Waikiki hotel. Climb aboard a mini-bus or limo and take off for the rugged northern part of the island, long a favorite of surfers and travelers who want to escape the city pace of Waikiki.

Drive straight to the famous Banzai Pipeline beach, where the surfing world's champion is decided each year. Hit up Turtle Town, the Dole Pineapple Plantation, and Waimea Bay as your guide provides engaging narrative.

Make a pit stop for lunch at a local restaurant (included with upgrade) and go swimming or stand-up paddleboarding (included with upgrade). Continue to Hanauma Bay, where you can swim and snorkel at what is considered one of the island's best beaches. Be treated to sights of flourishing coral, bright tropical fish, and the occasional sea turtle.

Wrap up your tour and head back to your Waikiki hotel.

Waimea Bay is another gem up on the North Shore of Hawaii. The surf break at Waimea Bay was significant in the development of Big wave surfing. Our guide was Jimbo and he was so nice and funny. They are really good with communication before the trip and the pick up was right on time. We had to make a few adjustments to the route due to COVID restrictions, but they made it so fun for us. The kayaking was a highlight because we got to see turtles and a sting ray. Jimbo even saved a bird that dropped into the water. Thank you!

Awesome cultural experience

Uncle Jimbo was an excellent tour guide and did a great job at explaining Hawaii’s history and culture along the way. With covid going on we were not able to go to Hanauma Bay but instead we got a more intimate tour of local spots around North Shore and got to kayak on the “Lazy River.” We saw like 10 sea turtles and enjoyed the local spots along the way.
