Your small group will be covering about two miles during the tour—though there will be plenty of breaks to sit down, drink water, and use the restroom—so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress for outdoor strolling.

You’ll explore Brooklyn Heights, Pierrepont Street, and Henry Street, taking in the neighborhood’s unique atmosphere and learning about its culinary history and traditions from your guide at each tasting stop. The tour can accommodate vegetarian and other dietary requirements, so everyone can enjoy local delicacies.

Afterwards, you’ll continue on to the sample delicious bites along Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Remsen Street, and Orange Street along the East River. Your guide will follow a route that takes in some of the area’s most captivating street art and pause along the river so you can snap photos of the cityscape before heading back to the meeting point to end the tour.

First, the description under sells the tour. Much more robust than described. All the food was excellent. Nice to have sit down stops. The pacing could use a little work but overall highly recommended.

The food was great, but was not expecting to walk about 2 miles during the tour. I kind of thought the people that worked at the eateries would come out and talk about the food, but that did not happen.

Hi Theresa - thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We are sorry that the restaurants didn't have more time to spend with the group. We make every effort to make that happen but sometimes our restaurant partners are short staffed or extra busy. Glad you enjoyed the food though (which is why we picked the partners that we did!).

Justin led out group over a 44 square block hustle. We started with perogies and cookie from polish shop, then bbq from folks who came from Oklahoma, then pizza from "THE BEST PIZZA" which was unique in offering a sesame seed crust white pizza as well as the traditional margarita, then bagel bombs which where filled with bacon cream cheese or for alternate spinach/artichoke to accommodate diet issues, then artisan chocolate, and finished with ice cream which you were able to choose your flavor. A lot of walking at a brisk pace, he did a good job of making sure we stayed together. He started by identifying any dietary issues, there were 3 in our group and he was very good about ensuring those issues were accommodated at all the stops One was lactose intolerance, two were no pork.
