The heliport is a large gray cement building with a big clock on the front. Please let security know you are flying with Helicopter Flight Services and they will direct you to our staff.

  • Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 275 lbs may be unable to fly. If passengers require a seat belt extender they will not be able to attend

Such a great experience. Took my Niece and Nephew from Washington state. My Nephew was able to sit in front with the pilot. Took tons of great pics and videos. Outstanding views of the city and Statue of Liberty. Definitely worth the money. An experience they will never forget.

Not worth it! My boyfriend and I paid $600 to be seated together and to enjoy the experience together but one was seated with the pilot in front and other at the back. If we wanted to do this experience alone, we would’ve gone alone. Also, the views are disappointing, only over the Hudson River, so you’re basically just seeing the skyline but from a little higher altitude. And honestly, I’ve seen better views of the skyline from Brooklyn.

I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience with us. Seating in the helicopter is determined by the weights of all passengers as we need to safely balance the aircraft. There is one seat up front next to the pilot, which is often considered the best seat. We do accept seating requests and if a couple requests not to be separated for their flight our staff will do their best to make sure they are seated together in the cabin if it is safe to do so.  The tour routes are heavily restricted by city regulations and flying directly over the city is not permitted. Aall tour routes are over the Hudson River viewing the skyline at about 1500 ft. We believe a helicopter tour of New York City provides a unique experience where you can see the whole island of Manhattan from above within 20 minutes.

We had a great ride! The check-in process was incredibly fast, the staff was kind, and we hopped right on the helicopter--no time wasted. A shared flight can feel a little cramped, but it goes by so quickly it's not a big deal. The views were amazing and we had a great time!
