An exceptional tour, and highly recommended

Our day with Marc, tour guide, and Levi, driver and company owner, was exceptional. My husband, a native New Yorker, having been away from the city for decades, thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing with Marc, and comparing memories of the city from their younger years. My husband, our adult daughter and I were the only ones on the tour (I’m certain many companies would have canceled without at least a half full capacity), and Marc was very thoughtful and cognizant of our needs, as was Levi. Marc was a font of knowledge about NYC and its history, and very enjoyable to listen to. As we were the only ones on the bus, Levi even drove the added distance to our hotel at the end of the tour - above and beyond for certain!

Best NYC Tour

Mark was our guide and he was super knowledgeable about everything NYC. Levi was our driver and we had such a comfortable/safe ride in a Mercedes bus that was partially open air. The views were incredible from the bus. The tour did not include a lunch. But we did stop in Little Italy for a snack. The tour started on time at 9 am and ended by 2:30 pm. We saw and learned a lot in a short amount of time. The meeting spot is at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. I highly recommend to go there early and see the church and Rockerfeller Center across the street (stores are not open though because it’s too early). Levi & Mark were awesome!!

Great experience

With this being my first trip to New York City, I wanted to get a good overview of the major attractions. This tour had the attractions that matched my expectations. The trip to Little Italy was mainly a lunch stop, but the restaurant definitely had an authentic feel. The itinerary on the website led me to believe it would be lunch on my own, but it turned out to be a set restaurant with a $15 flat rate. I would have preferred to choose my own lunch arrangements. “Uncle Jeffery” is a guide that is unparalleled. I have taken other Viator tours; and he was by far the best guide. The van driver was prompt and accommodating. I recommend this to anyone who wants a great overview of the city.

The tour was very good except we were constantly waiting for the bus to pick us up after every stop. Other than that, the bus driver was very nice and the tour guide was very helpful.

Uncle Jeffrey was first class

My wife and I had a very enjoyable tour with Jeffrey (Uncle Jeffrey to his friends). Jeffrey was very engaging and knowledgeable. His anecdotes were very amusing and he kept the whole group entertained. Our driver Michael was also very good finding a way to avoid all the road closures on Columbus Day and keep us on time and was very courteous. The tour itself was very good for the first time traveller to New York with adequate time at all the attractions. The lunch in Little Italy was also well worth the extra USD 15.00 per head all in.
