Very good tour. Page, the driver to the plantations was very knowledgeable and nice. Our tour guide for the actual Evergreen tour was amazing as well. Great experience!

Our guide and driver Page was very informative and we enjoyed his commentary and professionalism very much. The tour length was just right and allowed us to have lunch at the plantation, look around the grounds and tour the house. Our house tour guide was also very knowledgeable and made sure she took the time to answer any questions. We were picked up st our hotel promptly and dropped off without a hitch.

We chose to do this tour over the other plantations due to it being from the perspective of the slaves since this was the true reality of plantations in Louisiana. It is definitely not a "feel-good" tour, but I appreciate the memorials dedicated to the slaves who were forced to work at this plantation. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions anyone had. There are still some of the original buildings standing which you are able to go into. It is a longer tour. Ours lasted for around two hours. The bus driver was very knowledgeable as well, and shared a lot of history on the way to the plantations which was nice. He also gave some great recommendations of other places to see while in New Orleans
Oak alley plantation

The plantation tour was fantastic and the guide had a genuine enthusiasm for the history and archaeology. I wasn’t impressed with the bus driver. He tended to repeat the same information as if he was on autopilot. Sometimes saying the exact same thing 3 or more times. There was also a lot of off-colour comments that I wasn’t impressed with.

Thanks for taking the time to report your experience with our bus driver. You did not mention the date you took the tour, or the name of the driver. Would you please email us at so we know exactly who to address. Our customers satisfaction is very important to us.
Great tour guide

Jacques was the best...He was very knowledgeable in all things concerning the tour. I could listen to him speak all day, everyday. We ran into a few unpredictable detours on our way back but no worries as he got us back still within a reasonable amount of time.
Very nice
