I like learning about some of the history of New Orleans with some ghost stories thrown in. I wish it had a couple more stories, maybe one shorter story to fit one more

Michael was an excellent guide, super knowledgeable about all the fun ghost facts in New Orleans. We appreciated a lot of he helped us to debunk some myths about the city, and we learned a great deal about New Orleans history in a fun way. Highly recommended!

We went on two tours and one tour guide contradicts the other guide ;( We left the tour early on the ghost tour due to it.

Could have been better

Tour guide was quite entertaining and had great energy. Had some interesting history facts. However...She would spend A LOT of time telling a story about somewhere, and then say is wasn’t true. Way too much time telling us things that weren’t true, followed by a much shorter amount of real history. I personally wouldn’t want to have her as a tour guide again.

Valentine did a nice job. She also liked to put people in their place. "Come Closer!" She would say and then tell you where exactly to go, "No not there" and she would look at you in the eye with a nasty little glint and point to where she wanted you....not a fan of directions given in that. Her spiel was decent. I hope she makes good on the research she plans to do. It seems like there is a lot more detailed info that could be given. I don't like being told how to review and that a tip is expected. All in all, it was fine.

We are so glad that our guide was Michael. He is a historian and it was refreshing to hear a historian’s perspective on the area’s legendary history and folklore. He did not want to sensationalize (which is great!) and put on historionics as some guides we passed along the way. He was no-nonsense.

Uninspiring

It was difficult to sift out Sydney’s personal reflections and opinions from the facts which would have been much more interesting had they been presented clearly. Her incessant rants about government cheese in storage, college workload, debt, and Nicolas Cage left me wondering what I was paying for. Spend your $19.95 elsewhere.

Nice Lady, mediocre tour. Lacked details, vague information. Lots of wasted time with no information. Have been on same tour a few years ago and got many more details. Not a lot of "personality" in tour guide. Don't want to cost her the job....just tell her to study, study and put more personality into presentation. Not so much of her own personal private life.
