We were supposed to have 6 restaurant experiences only had 3. It was unorganized the restaurant s were not expecting us nothing was preplanned and the least expensive item was ordered. For example sample appetizer platters. We were charged $157 for the two of us.

Hi Robert, Thank you for sharing your feedback, we were disappointed to hear about your experience. Having followed up with our local team, we understand that some restaurants decided to close immediately after the Holiday, as well as made last minute closures due to the surge in COVID numbers. This meant our team had to locate alternative local restaurants, instead, to deliver the 6 different dishes this tour offers. We're sorry to hear that these restaurants did not meet your expectations. We would like the chance to learn more about what happened to make sure the restaurants we use meet our high standards. If you can please reach out to us by emailing neworleans@northamericatourhub.com we would be happy to look into this further for you. All the best, UA team

Foodies satisfied!

Neil Stevens, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable of the history of New Orleans and the origins of the various dishes we had the opportunity to enjoy during the tour. We enjoyed all the restaurants and food included in the tour, including beignets, Cafe du Monde coffee, gumbo, boudin, muffaleta, fried alligator. We all enjoyed the tour and highly recommend to those interested in tasting some of the wonderful food New Orleans has to offer and the rich history of the city.

Our tour guide was excellent. He was so informative about the people and start of New Orleans. Our family heritage is Creole. So, it was nice to have someone that knew the history. The food was absolutely delicious 😋

Reservations or Not at lunch time
douglas_p

Food was good and we sampled all that is unique to new orleans and the French Quarter. This could easily be done on your own just wandering from restaurant to restaurant. The biggest problem I saw wit this tour is that there are no reservations and some of the restaurants we stopped at had had no tables available because it was lunch time and they are all full, This resulted in us doing ALOT more walking ,looking for someplace that could get us in

Best tour and tour guide in NOLA!
MARK_K

Laura was absolutely phenomenal! She combined history and humor to make this THE best food tour anywhere. Book this tour with her is a must. The instructions are dead on when they say DON'T EAT beforehand! We ate at the best non tourist food spots in the French Quarter. Did I already mention DON'T EAT beforehand! Thanks Laura for making our 25th wedding anniversary weekend in New Orleans a most memorable experience! Dr. M. K. Kearse
