Private Capri Island and Blue Grotto Day Tour from Naples or Sorrento

We enjoyed traveling from Sorrento to Capri despite the rain for half of the day. The tour was good but a little chopped up due to the rain. If the weather had been better we would have been able to see and do more. We did see most parts of Capri and Anacapri. The rain caused the ski lift to be closed as well as the Blue Grotto which were both disappointments. The ride around the island by boat was fun and it allowed us to see the entire island from below. We had a lovely lunch on the water at the end of the day. If you can visit on a nice day, schedule this tour. Since we were on a cruise, we had no choice but to take the tour in the rain which did dampen our spirits.

Absolutely perfect! Our guide was the best. She made sure we saw as much as possible and with a lot of knowledge.

We had a great day in Capri with Luigi, who I am pretty sure knows everyone on the island! He coordinated our day so all we had to do was enjoy! And despite the Blue Grotto being closed, massive disappointment for me as it was a Bucket List item for me, he made a day a great one. We did a boat tour of the island instead of visiting the Blue Grotto, which was very enjoyable. Since we still had several days in the area Luigi walked us through how to come back over and get to the grotto, he even gave us a site to check each morning to see if it was open. He even told us when he thought it would be open, and he was right. We made it back and visited the Grotto, so thanks to Luigi we had the full Capri experience and we loved exploring the entire island and all the inside tips and info he gave us that we would have missed. It was a fun and carefree day!

The island tour with the private taxi and Marcella getting us all our tickets by skipping all the lines, made this tour perfect for a full one day trip to Capri. We got to the blue grotto Ana Capri and the main city of Capri with time to walk and shop. Marcella is wonderful and fun as your guide, making the island even with its crowds feel like a wonderful world to explore. Brava Marcella!

By far the best way to visit Capri in a day. Our guide took all over the island and we had the absolute best day on Capri. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Marcella was amazing. She timed everything just perfectly so that my daughter and I beat the larger crowds for the blue grotto and other popular attractions. Very efficient with transportation and time to maximize our tour. She was also very flexible when we lingered in a few places.

We booked this tour for a one day stop over from a boat cruise in Naples and had an amazing day with Luigi our tour guide. There is a lot to do in one day and everything was so well organised. The private tour was great as we are a family of 6 with two teenagers and grand parents. We even did a little less shopping to allow for a swim which was nice. Luigi was fantastic, easy going and funny and added to the whole wonderful experience.

Giorgio was absolutely wonderful! He is from Anacapri and the love he feels for his home is obvious. We had the best time--two moms and our 13 year old daughters. The Blue Grotto was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Our tour was great, timely and our guide Sabrina was great to us, perfect Spanish and lovely, thank yo so much. This is not the first Viator expericne and that is why will recommend it again and again.

Our tour guide Paolo was amazing and we were able to see all of Capri and Anacapri in one memorable day. The gardens and chairlift had breathtaking views. The boat ride was wonderful and the food was to die for. The convertible rides around the island were so much fun. Highly recommend this tour if you have a day in Naples.
