About 10 hrs trip. Driver was a very pleasant man and guide and gave historic information non stop. Loved the stop at the Bedouin tent where we had dates and traditional coffee. Sand dunes were amazing. Best part was a swim in the Wadi Bani Khalid springs, clear waters. Lunch was not up to my taste. But our driver pampered us with karak tea and special Omani bread yummy.

Super netter, mega sympathischer Guide! Er liebt sein Land und war so umwerfend freundlich. Die Fahrt bis in die Berge dauert 2 1/2 Stunden. Die Landschaft atemberaubend. Der Bergsee, naja, dafür lohnt die Fahrt nicht wirklich. Mini Bar vor Ort, man darf NICHT in Badehose und Bikini schwimmen, sondern nur mit komplett den Körper bedeckenden Kleidung! Kann man dort leihen, wers mag anderer Leute Sachen zu tragen ;-)) Der Weg dorthin sehr steinig und man sollte gutes Schuhwerk haben. Mittagessen in einem ortsüblichen Lokal, sehr lecker. Die Einheimischen essen mit den Händen! Sehr interessant zu sehen. Weiter Richtung Wüste. Etwas Achterbahnfahrt durch die Dünen, Besuch eines Nomadenzeltes, sehr nette Menschen mit Möglichkeit zum Kamelreiten. Anschließend Rückfahrt zum Hotel. Fahrzeuge sind optisch und technisch TOP!

Questo tour è stato un vero e proprio disastro la guida/autista non conosceva nè le strade nè le tappe che avremmo dovuto fare durante il giro, infatti abbiamo visitato a malapena il deserto e non siamo riusciti a raggiungere il wadi saltando la visita (e il pranzo). Un vero e proprio disastro costato 500€ e ben 9h di macchina
