Great to see the stadium...

Great to see the stadium and the museum (a really nice substitute for the locker rooms). A pity it wasn't possible to hear everything that was said on the bus, but it was still a great experience and a nice way to see the city.

Not in English, and Not a Tour

This listing didn’t mention it when I booked this tour (I hope they’ve since edited it), but the arena tour is in German. Even if you select “English” as your language, the tour is in German. Also, the “tour” is 20 minutes of sitting in the stadium seats while an Allianz Arena employee talks about the arena (again, in German). You don’t see any other parts of the stadium itself, then you go to the museum. If you actually want a tour, I highly recommend booking directly through the arena website. You can get an actual tour, and you can get it in English. I so wish I had done that instead of this tour.

It was fascinating, the guide was super nice with me she even gave me her ticket to the museum cause I missed the bus where they give those tickets, nothing to say but to say it was perfect.

It is a great tour for the best team in the world FC Bayern Munich. I spent amazing time visiting training area of FC Bayern and Allianz Arena. The only thing that this tour should take more time at least one hour so visitors can get a chance to go to the Shop and visit the museum.

We needed to kill a day in Munich and this was a great 3 1/2 hour tour and behind the scenes at the world champs soccer stadium and all the trimmings + bits of Munich. Very unusual and highly recommended. If you're a soccer fan it's probably a 3 hour orgasm...

If you are a soccer fan, you will enjoy this tour. Allianz Arena is amazing. However the tour didn’t go in depth comparing to other stadium tours in Germany.

We booked this trip for Aug. 18. approx. 3 weeks ahead of time. Viator should have never sold the tickets as Allianz Arena visits. It is apparently very well known that no tours are allowed on the day of a game. Instead we were driven to the Olympiapark stadium. The tour is conducted by Grey Lines and unfortunately the tour guides got all the complaints. There was nothing wrong with the tour guides but as a customer I did not get what I paid for.

There were lot's off issues with this tour. Firstly on our arrival at the meeting we were directed to 3 different queues but the staff who all looked distracted. The city tour was hard to head through the bus speakers, it was delivered in a non-engaging or interesting manor and despite being on the English tour it was delivered in English and German meaning zoning in and out of the commentary. We only got about 10 minutes at the fan shop en route to the Allianz then when at the Allianz Arena the guide was not clear to anyone about what was happening or where we should go/wait instead chatting to on site staff most of the time. Then we were given 50 mins to get back to the bus before the 60 min long tour started with no clear direction of where the bus would be or where to meet. This meant a rushed tour round the arena with no time for the museum in the Arena or the much larger club shop. My brother and I went into the shop quickly so he could purchase a shirt and by the time we got out despite being as quick as possible the bus had left so we gladly took the underground back instead. You are better off getting the underground to the stadium, booking your own tour and moving at your own pace.

Good tor but I would have liked to be actually told that the museum tour was not only extra 12 each but there was no time if you wanted to go back on the same coach. It wasn't really a problem as we caught a later bus but that did mean changing to a second bus at the Olympic stadium. I'm not complaining it wasn't included obvious from the price of this tour but I think it would have been nice for the guide to tell us at some point.

More properly a soccer tour than a city tour. The only city tour was between the soccer stops. Since FC Bayern was playing the day of our tour, we didn't get to go to Allianz. Instead, we went to the Olympic Stadium, which was fine, but not really what we signed up for. The tour guide was nice and gave the tour in English and German. While we were upstairs on the double-decker bus, the others on the tour spoke over the tour guide's English description. So, we went downstairs for the rest of the tour, which made it better, until it got too hot and the loudmouths came downstairs. If you love soccer, especially FC Bayern Munich, this is the tour for you. You'll visit all of the holy spots. However, if you want to see the city and just like or don't care about soccer, pick another tour.

We had a bus trip around the sites commentary in German and English. We stopped at the training ground for 30 minutes enough time for photos and a quick look in the shop. The stadium tour was interesting and fun, with some time to look around on your own afterwards. If you did not want to return on the tour bus there was a shuttle service you could catch back to town lay enabling you to look in the museum. We recommend taking sun hats and water if you sit on the top deck on a sunny day as we baked.

Disappointing--I booked a city tour with FC Bayern Soccer Grounds visit. This was simply a soccer grounds and stadium visit, and really a very poor city tour. I didn't feel I saw any of the city but for the places on our way to the soccer stadium and their training grounds. We did not get to see old town or many of the other historical sites within Munich City.

A good way to see the sights of Munich. Not into soccer but it was well worth seeing the Allianz Arena as quite unusual in design and construction, allowing it to change colors for the home team playing. Tour guide did the narrative first in German and then in English. The guide for the arena did the same and he was very good in taking us around, a lot of fun as he was quite passionate for his favorite team from Munich.
