Awesome experience!

The crew members were all very engaging, helped those that felt sick, and found whales and dolphins for us to watch. Got great pictures. Would highly recommend.

Don't Hesitate, this is the tour you want

This was the complete whale watching experience and more. The crew was equally concerned with our safety and that we all had a good time. We saw 8-10 hump backs, a massive pod of dolphins, various birds, seals, sea lions and otters. Andrew had us join him singing sea shanties. The other Andrew is a virtual encyclopedia of knowledge in sealife. It was an awesome experience. I'd book it again without hesitation.

The whale watching experience was by far the most incredible sights of active ocean life of my life. Whales abound, dolphins of many species and seals. Ocean foul so thick it was so unbelievable in one outing. Discovery you totally out did yourselves Alfredo and Matt combo

Fantastic event. Knowledgeable and experienced staff. Smaller boats than the other tour companies made for fewer people and better views.
Wonderful experience! Definitely recommend!

A must do in Monterey

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our whale watching! We saw humpback whales, sea lions and Risso’s dolphins. The crew was incredibly informative, interactive and helpful.
Choppy, miserable adventure

Worst boat ride I’ve ever had. Never been seasick before, but myself, my husband and at least 1/3 of the passengers were hanging over the back of the boat throwing up. We saw whales but not worth it. never again!

We are extremely sorry to hear that the seasickness got in the way of enjoying your trip. Unfortunately Monterey Bay is exposed to the open ocean and on occasion we are hit with choppy seas. Our Captain's/Crew do the best of their ability to make it a safe and enjoyable trip still unless it hits unsafe conditions and they have to cancel. The crew gives as many seasick prevention tips as possible before the trip departs to try and ease any discomfort that may occur. Please contact Britt at so that we may further discuss your trip. Thank you

Andrew and Isaiah were both super helpful throughout the cruise. Isaiah talked to me about Marine biology while Andrew helped my friends while they were sea sick 😬😂 overall a fun experience featuring a mama and a baby whale (named Staci and James - Jimbo when he is feeling goofy). Would definitely recommend!
