Great Walking Tour!

We had a great time on this tour. We started at the Santa Maria delle Grazie where we met our tour guide for our head sets. It was super easy, we found her holding the viator sign and just provided our names and showed our receipt from our phones. I understand why they ask you to come 30mins before, as they take attendance, provide head sets, answer quick questions and people are always late. At 10:30 sharp, we walked into the convent and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was able to answer questions with confidence and gave great facts about Leonardo DaVinci, the destruction of war and about the preservation and repainting. It was very interesting throughout. After the last supper tour, most people in the group departed and 6 of us kept on to the walking tour. We walked around the chapel and over to the Sforzesco Castle. All the while getting great tips about Milan. The castle is free entry. From there we walked through the streets of Milan to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where all the high-end designer stores are. From there we walked right out to see the incredible Duomo di Milano. This breathing tasking church was a highlight of the trip. This tour includes free entry to the church and skip the line access, it was perfect as there was quite a line. The church was busy at 12:30pm but we could still move around with ease and see everything on the main floor. We had such a great time on the tour and it was a great way to see major sites in Milan. Seeing the city on foot, with a knowledgeable local is the best way to do it. Thanks a bunch! Hilary & Craig <3

Excellent Tour

While a little disorganized at the beginning (our Italian friends had to call the local tour company the night before— to determine time and meeting place) because we were not advised—as told we would be.......the rest of the tour was excellent. Our guide was Katerina and she was awesome. I’d strongly suggest this tour to get an in-depth history of the city, the last supper, the duomo and the castle. Strongly recommend!

Robbed During Tour

We were robbed during our tour of the Last Supper. It was raining, and a man in a hoodie acted like he was part of our group. He was acting strangely when he talked to the tour guide, accepting and then returning the headset several times. My wife put her backpack in an electronic locker at the demand of the tour guide. The man abruptly left our group and doubled back to the ticket office as we entered the Last Supper. When we got out, he had stolen more than 300 Euros from her back pack and all of her credit cards. The staff at the Last Supper was completely uncooperative and unhelpful. While we immediately cancelled all of our credit cards, the thief had already attempted to run charges on the five that he stole. This was clearly organized crime and I am mistrustful of both the Viator staff and the Last Supper ticket office. The police told us that we could walk thirty minutes in the rain to the police station if we wanted to file a report. When we called the tour operator, they weren't very helpful either. If you go to this attraction, leave all of your belongings behind and only bring things you can keep on your person. Don't expect a lot of help from the staff or the police if you run into trouble of any kind.

Dear Costumer, we are really very sorry that you were robbed in Milan but unfortunately what happened to you and to your wife can happened in any other town all over the world. We are really very sorry that according to your opinion the crime was organized but not Viator, neither the Last Supper ticket office is responsible for what happened to you. You advised Viator local supplier that you were robbed only the day after asking for a refund of the tour and the local supplier ask you to file a report but you didn't and your refund request was rejected. We are really very sorry that according to your opinion the Italian Police is not reliable and cooperative. This is not true. Police can help you if you file a report and explain ecxatly what happened to you at what time, where, if you describe the person who robbed you otherwise how can police catch the thief and give you back your belongings? Best regards.

Despite very unclear instructions on the departure point (by the way, the Cafe’s name is Camparini not Camporini) and the unannounced rain, the tour itself and the tour guide, Valentina, were very good.

Dear Costumer, thank you for your kind review. We will provide clearer instructions on the departure point that is Piazza Duomo, 21, between the Camparino Cafe' and the pharmacy. We are very happy you enjoyed your tour and Valentina's explanations. Best regards.

Great way to see Milan

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and definitely made our tour very informative. We bought the tour mainly because we wanted to see the last supper and couldn't get any tickets. I am glad we got a tour because there's so much to know about the painting that unless you have studied it you don't really know what you are looking at. Truly a masterpiece!! After the last supper we went to a castle which was very interesting and had lots of cool things to look at. We ran out of time so we couldn't have our guide go with us inside the church which was very disappointing as we would have benefited from her knowledge. Overall it was a great tour.

We were only able to do the viewing of the Last Supper due to the illness of our tour guide. They did offer us a different time for the Milan half day tour, but it did not fit into our scheduled.

Our tour guide was able to take 2 groups on a tour that was not organized properly by the back office and turn it into a highlight of our vacation in spite of a office not supplying the tickets we needed in a timely manner she managed to inform us of all relevant facts in an engaging manner and include everything that was promised on line. She was very knowledgeable and informative while keeping everyone on track and completing the tour in a timely manner
