Be safe and enjoy the scenery

Safety was not a priority for this trip. I have taken a bike tour before where safety precautions were taken from showing hand signals to making sure the bike was properly adjusted. The tour guide made what I consider dangerous turns with oncoming traffic and we were expected to follow. Additionally, as the tour guide he biked through yellow lights, so if you were not at least the second rider behind him you biked through an intersection on a red light. Fortunately, I was close behind him and didn't bike through red lights, but the others behind me did. You may say, they could have stopped, but they would have been left behind because he rarely looked back to make sure the group was together. Also, my bike was squeaky when I braked. On the positive side, I enjoyed the scenery and being able to see different parts of Miami. If I had more days left in the city after the tour, I would have definitely made my way back to some of the spots we visited. If you like to bike, and want to see more than the beach, this is a good tour. Just put safety first for yourself.

Jasmine was our tour guide and was informative and funny. The bike tour hit many key sights that were worth seeing and learning about. I enjoyed riding next to the beach and learning more about Miami.
