It is not a rainforest

It was short trip but not exactly a rainforest. I would say a well maintained area and with good explanation of plants and chocolates and other things. This place is not a rainforest. This place is has extreme short hike do not expect as rainforest hike and locations of greenery and scenic views and In this tour seeing some good greenery and one beautiful small water fall is worth. I would say guide was in a hurry at the end. He did not took my pictures properly. This part I don’t like even after specifically while booking tour mentioned as taking my pictures are very important for me. Which they did not. According to the place it’s too much pricy I would say 50$ more than enough for this tour. As per there description of tour it’s over hipe or build up. This place is there own private area which made as tourist spot to earn money. Rainforest adventure hiking is false and fake word.

Aloha Vineet, The King Gardens is perfect for those who are seeking a off the beaten path experience, an immersion into a taste of a land before time, who grasp that they not just looking some plants (as it might be a rare and endangered species) and that it is not just a tree they are seeing but part of a living rainforest that is giving tons of life giving oxygen to our planet, that they are helping to save. That it is not just a rock, but a sacred historical pohaku (stone) that has great cultural meaning. For them the gardens is a treasure trove of captivating sights and sounds unlike any other. And they are the ones who love to gift the gardens with rave five star reviews! Allowing other like them the chance to visit. For them it is the highlight of their vacation and one of the greatest memories that will last a lifetime. For they are the ones, whether rain or shine are so excited and honored to have been a part of creating the legacy at the gardens. As you know this is not a tourist destination. But a fun fundraiser for charity & wonderful opportunity for you to show your aloha while on vacation. We hope that the reason you visited was that of this mood and spirit of Aloha. If we can be of further help let us know. Yes it is a real Hawaiian rainforest.

Best experience in Hawaii on all the islands by far

We Had An Incredible Time At The Kings Garden Maui! My fiancé and I signed up for the waterfall hike & chocolate tour, being two of our absolutely favorite things to do in the world, and it was off the charts! Being on a limited budget because she lost her job due to COVID, the price tag was a little intimidating, but boy was it worth it! We would pay five times that amount, with so much to see, do & learn. The chocolate tour was awesome with some of the best the chocolate we’ve ever had. The staff amazing, kind, thoughtful and our guide was world class & the gardens was fabulous. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was by far our favorite thing we while on Maui. Our second favorite was a helicopter tour over Pearl Harbor, but this was by far 1st place over that.

OMG. that is not the waterfall that you are going to see. To enjoy, you must be interested in plants because that was majority of the conversation.

But a fun fundraiser for charity & wonderful opportunity for you to show your aloha while on vacation. 96% of people love this location, it features not only the first waterfall on the way to Hana with out the long drive, but a beautiful ancient Hawaiian rainforest, set with in a magical tropical estate, that feature not only the worlds largest prehistoric dinosaur ferns and the ancient water cave of Mo'o but also the ancient Hawaiian relics of one of the greatest Kings Of the Hawaii. They also showcase Cacao ( Chocolate) Growing in its native habitat the rainforest where visitors get to learn all about how chocolate goes from the tree to the delightful treat known the world over & they get to taste wonderful yummy Chocolate samples as well as enjoy a chocolate making presentation. The rich cultural and natural history heritage of this location for most is mesmerizing. With so much to see and hear. To top it off this is also a sacred Hawaiian site with lots of Mana and found to be one of the important heritage locations of Hawaii that is of great significance to our Hawaiian culture. For those who enjoy and want to emerge themselves in the multifaceted and fascinating experience there are no words to describe their gratitude. They love the fact that it is to help restore, preserve and put into conservation this great historical heritage site and are motivated to give back while on Maui and find that at the Kings Gardens Maui they get to have fun while doing good.

Must do Maui experience.

Our guide's name was Maui and he was awesome. He led the hike which is not at all difficult. We would hike a bit and then stop as Maui would point out picture taking things along the way as well as took our pictures at many interesting sites. He shared so much information including many interesting things about Maui. The chocolate making and eating at the end of the hike was so much fun and delicious and Maui give us complete information on how we could do it at home. An experience too many tourists miss out on. The drive there is easy. Don't miss it.

We started out a little lost as we lost cell service to follow the directions We arrived late but Tim graciously waited for us - mahalo Tim! The walk was fascinating and we felt connected to nature’s mysteries . Tim was a fabulous guide- we enjoyed his stories and knowledge of the area. The chocolate tasting was fun! Thank you for sharing the secret garden
