The boat ride was excellent We could see everything and felt safe the whole time. The timing was perfect and we made it back to the bus to complete our tour. I only wish they had offered us water. Other tours we have been on have given us drinks and I was extremely thirsty.

The tour operator was rude. Certain seats didn’t have working stations so you couldn’t listen to the “tour”. The tour was also very boring. It basically went thru the commercial area of town, nothing spectacular to see at all until you get to the Cathedral and a couple other areas. Truly the hop on hop off bus in Mallorca is a skip-it.

Too Cold Plus Other Problems

The bus driver could not process our printed receipt for tickets when we got on the bus at stop 14. We changed busses at the Bus Stop 1 so we could get tickets. It was a very cold, overcast day, so the ride was not pleasant. That has no impact other than had we not already paid for our tickets, we would not have gone. It was way too cold to go on the boat portion, so that was not utilized. Several other customers said they paid a much lower rate when buying the tickets at the site. There was a senior discount which Viator did not offer to us, and they paid 9 Euros for the same bus we paid $21 for. All of these factors made the whole experience less desirable.

I waited from 4.15 pm until 5.30 pm at Antoni Maura stop, then 2 buses came along. The bus stand said one was due at 16.50, it never came. I went online to talk to online help, they never replied. Driver blamed the traffic but this service isn’t efficient, at all.

Employees need lessons in kindness and patience

Our very first impression of Mallorca was not good due to the rudeness displayed by two women that were taking tickets to get on the bus. They were short, tempered, rude and incredibly unkind to foreign visitors who were confused and frustrated and did not speak the language. Other Hop off -Hop on tours were great in other cities, not Mallorca.
