A hike experience worth doing!

We very much enjoyed this tour! We were given the history and all relevant information on the bus on the way there, and once there we were able to walk at our own pace without having to stay in a group at all times. We had a time that the bus was leaving and had to make sure we were there on time. The guide walked behind all of us and would answer questions as asked. I prefer this type of tour as it can be enjoyed at one's pace and given the times, also with comfortable social distancing.

The actual hike/ experience at caminito del ray was great. Well worth doing The organisation awful though Everyone on trip unsure about the pick up... were we at the right place? What happens if bus doesn’t come? Etc Guide was great but he had to do his talks in 4 languages! Exhausting for him and for us! Why not just give us a sheet with the itinerary and information? The local food experience was rubbish, hardly an artisan offering of fine foods... scruffy little cafe where we had to kill an hour! Then the journey back to Malaga.... took hours... went via Marbella & fengirola. Just about finished us off! Windy roads, awful journey... The caminito was interesting & worth the trip but recommend to everyone, do a shorter trip & check the itinerary carefully Also book in advance. We found it tricky to get a place at a days notice

The guide was generic and non caring, the trip back took us 4 hours. Incredible how this company (julia) could even think of doing this with an arrogance beyond imagination. Bad explanation of pick up place, all mistakes that could be avoided, i warn you for this, don’t book it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out to visit the Caminito Del Rey, a full bus with people from all over the world. Our rep was informative and able to answer any questions. It was certainly a must do trip if you are staying in Malaga. The facilities upon arrival at the start of the walk are very limited and with bus loads of people the wait was lengthy. The walk in the conservation area was very beautiful and well looked after. The views are stunning. You will enjoy it!

Before I joined the tour I read a few reviews that mentioned how disgruntled they were about the pick up time and the time it took to get everyone on the bus. I was prepared for this but the tour I joined was precise, on time , and just 1 stop for us in the El Corte Ingleis/Caixa Bank area of Avinida Andulusia so I was pleasantly surprised. The tour went smoothly and the other people in the group were cooperative and relaxed. The walk itself through the National Park and the Caminito del Rey was easy and very enjoyable, the scenery was simply breathtaking. No words! (Sin palabra) I was so in awe of the natural beauty that I forgot all about the height and "danger" I was feeling before I went. The place is well organised and truly, it is a must-do in Malaga and it is not dangerous at all. Highly recommended. Disfrutar!

The hike itself was amazing but it only lasted two hours when advertised as 2.5-3 hours. It was beautiful but felt very rushed and didn't have enough time on the trail. 3.5 hours of the 8 hours was on a bus. The hour stop at a local restaurant was very nice. Overall a good experience but may have reconsidered if we had known that more than half of the 8 hours was travel due to out of the way stops on the way home to let people off the bus.

This was a most amazing tour. Our wonderful guide Danny, and driver, Pedro, made it very special day. Everything went as planned, from the pick up to the drop off. Of course the actual hike was beyond my expectation! It was indeed dramatic, exciting, and an adventure to be remembered.
