Enter the Arrivals Hall after customs and immigration, look for a representative with a blue City Transfers UK sign who will meet you next to the designated meeting points in each terminal. Dependant on live immigration, customs and baggage clearance times you will be met 60 minutes after landing. Meeting Points for Heathrow airport: Terminal 2 & 3: In front of WHSmith / Terminal 4 & 5: In front of Costa Coffee. Representatives in Heathrow airports will be wearing blue jackets. Meeting Points for Gatwick/Luton/Stansted airports: All terminals: In front of Costa Coffee.

Getting from London Heathrow, Gatwick or Stansted Airport to your hotel or private residence can be complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. This convenient option takes all the hassle out of renting a car or paying for a taxi after a flight.

Just enter your details when you book, and your shared transfer is confirmed instantly. When you land, show your voucher to the driver and hop inside the vehicle. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so it doesn’t matter when your flight arrives. 

Please note: There is a maximum luggage allowance of one suitcase and one carry-on bag per person.

  • CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) Procedures: As a family run provider of transfer, chauffeur and site seeing services. City Transfers is committed to your safety in the new normal and that of it’s driver team. To that end, we have implemented the following measures: • Daily health checks, all drivers will take temperature tests and check for symptoms daily before beginning shifts. We request that passengers similarly ensure that they are asymptomatic before travelling with us. • Chauffeurs will greet guests verbally instead of a handshake, they will still offer to assist with luggage but will sanitise handles after handling. • All drivers will wear masks and hands will be sanitised regularly before, after and during service. • Passengers must wear face masks at all times. • The front passenger seat alongside the driver will not be available for travellers use. • Drivers will wipe external and internal door handles after every trip. • Drivers will have sanitiser (60% + alcohol) and / or wipes available at all times. • Drivers will turn aircon and ventilation to circulate external air not internal air.
  • This transfer does NOT service hotels in the Docklands area
  • When arriving into London on an overnight flight, please ensure that you book for the date that you land.
  • All infants & children are charged as full fare paying passengers. There will be no charge for car seat on any shared transfers. Please note that child seats may not always be available, even if requested in advance.

  • Luggage Restrictions: Large items such as skis, surfboards, wheelchairs (excluding foldable) & golf bags are not permitted under any circumstances. Likewise, any excessive luggage requirements of more than airline standard of 1 suitcase and one carry on per passenger should be checked with City Transfers UK at time of booking.

My pickup service driver was excellent! After picking up my luggage he professionally assisted me with loading my bags into the clean van and offered hand sanitizer. When we arrived at the hotel, he helped bring my bags into the reception area and was very courteous. I accidentally left my favourite pink scarf in his van. I didn't realise my mistake for several hours and was concerned it was lost forever. I called the company and it was told someone would get back to me if the scarf was found. Very quickly I was emailed a response! The driver found the scarf and would be bringing it back to me at the hotel! I can't express how pleased I am with the excellent customer service I was provided. Thank you for all your help! I highly recommend this company!

PROFESSIONAL but NO SMOKE

really friendly man waiting with our name once we got to baggage claim. Very easy to find and professional. He connected with the vehicle and walked us out to the van. THE ONLY ISSUE was the SMOKE in his car, everyone is not a smoker. The driver needs to keep in mind some people are allergic to smoke. THEY RECEIVED A 4 star BASED ON THE SMOKEY smell in the car.

We landed at the time and terminal we indicated upon making the reservation. After multiple calls to the head office, we were run all over Heathrow - including a long slog on foot from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 with all our bags. In the end, it was almost two hours from the time we landed until we got into the shuttle bus. Hardly what you want after a long trans-Atlantic flight. Avoid!

This was the best transfer service we have ever used. Our driver was very polite, friendly and above all extremely helpful. Although, I will hate to leave London, I do look forward to our ride back to the airport with this company.

Everything went smoothly. Called local contact provided upon arrival. Waiting time to be collected was only a few minutes maybe 5 to 10 mins. Car was clean and driver professional.

Long trip to city center

Pickup was great! As soon as we got thru customs our driver was right there waiting for us. There were 3 of us riding into the city center, unfortunately it was from Gatwick Airport, during the evening rush hour. The ride itself was good, although we were transported in a Prius, not the most comfortable vehicle for a long car ride. It took us just over 2 HOURS to get from Gatwick to our hotel in Bayswater and we were vey much ready to get out of the car and into the hotel that night. All in all we made it, that's all that really matters.

This shared transfer is not worth. Book a private one

This shared transfer was terrible. The driver was 20 minutes late. Then we picked up another couple at a different airport, and waited for them , then we tried to fit 4 adults in a medium car plus driver and bags. We were literally sitting on top of each other. Then driver tried to go around some traffic and it took us another 2 hours before we arrived at our hotel. We arrived in London and missed one of our afternoon tours we were trying to attend.
