Florence and Pisa Shore Excursion from Livorno

We had a great day with Thomas even though it was drizzling. We still were able to see everything and he tried his best to keep us dry and out of the elements without missing a beat. He recommended a GREAT place for lunch and made reservations for us. He also set up a winery tour for us on the way back to our ship. He took to places we had not seen on our first trip to Florence several years ago. I would recommend his tour!

Spent 8 hours with our tour guide, Leonardo who took us to Pisa and knew the perfect spot for a picture of the Leaning Tower. He suggested a favorite restaurant for lunch that was amazing as well as pointed out several landmarks around town before heading back to our ship. Leonardo was so knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to ride with all day. We would gladly recommend him and hope to book again in the future. Lisa

Our tour director was a nice gentleman but I don't feel he was very forth coming with information or a very good leader. While we were on the walking tour he was several meters ahead of us. there was many times he was so far ahead we couldn't even find him. We had told him ahead of time by email that we wanted skip the line tickets for Academia. When we got to Florence at 10:30am and he went to get the tickets there were none available. We were finally able to get some for 5 pm. Happy to get them but it threw the whole tour off kilter. He was able to get us into a winery to fill in for time. The wine tour was very nice. Our trip to Pisa was cut short because of the Academia tickets.

We loved our day in Florence/Pisa. Our driver called ahead for the line at the Academia, which allowed us to go at the best time. He also made us reservations to an excellent restaurant and was always waiting for us at our meeting points. We had a fabulous day!

Leonardo was very helpful, informative and polite, and we felt very comfortable with him. He did not really engage our 2 kids, however, so I am not sure this would be a great tour for a family.

Best Tour ever.......My family and I booked this excursion instead of our cruise excursion. Our tour guide Leonardo surpassed our expectations.He was at the port on time.Very knowledgable, knows the history and even managed to hold the interest of all 3 of our kidsages:16,13,9 throughout the tour.We are vegetarians and he made the extra effort to find us a great little eatery for lunch and as an added bonus, took us to a Vineyard in Tuscany on our way back to the port.One of our most memorable trips. Highly recommend.

We had the best tour guide Andreas!!!! OMG...we just can't say enough good things about him...he really let us experience true Italian restaurants and made the tour fun and interesting. We would go back and book him again and again!

Our driver was at the pier with our name on a placard and was on time when we came out from the ship,the car was a nice Mercedes,very comfortable.We went straight to the leaning tower of Pisa and took lots of photos and he was very good in telling us the history of the area,we were there for about forty five minutes to an hour exploring the cathedrals and so on,when by the time we finished about 10 bus loads of tourists arrived.WE were gone and the next stop was Florence ,he took us on a walking tour at a casual pace no hurry what so ever,we walked through the town and did a bit of shopping he gave a good history lesson on the area,it was great in a way knowing what you were looking at,and took visual in your mind that you were looking at buildings that were thousands of years old.After that we went on a scenic drive and stopped for lunch in a big square and took more photos.I recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Livorno.

This excursion was for 8 hours on a nine-passenger van. Highly recommend if you are group of eight. Our tour guide was punctual, first took us to Livorno to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. If you have time, go up the tower but you won't have time to to that on this excursion, as we still had to go to Florence. Our guide, Simone was awesome she speaks good English! She drove us through the countryside on our way to Florence, and that was really good as the views were amazing! Florence was for shopping, but if shopping is not on your list, you can ask the tour guide to personalize your tour e.g., winery/wine tasting as it was pre-offered to us, but we didn't do it.

When we stepped out of our cruise ship, our tour guide Leonardo was already waiting for us. He asked me where we wanted to go, and I told him our wish list. Leonardo is very knowledgeable and accommodating. There were 7 of us and we were comfortable in his mini van. We wanted to have a nice lunch, and Leonardo took us to a place that is frequented by locals. The food was one of the best I've ever had - even my kids cannot stop talking about how good the lasagna was. This tour was one of the most memorable we've had.
