A once in a life time experience. Great fun. Informative. Historically sound. The ferry cross the Mersey song played while we were sailing goose bumps stuff.

Combined with Beatles Liverpool Day Rail Tour from London

Despite the raw weather last week, we thoroughly enjoyed our Mersey River Cruise and it worked out perfectly, as we combined it with our Beatles Magical Mystery Bus Tour, also from Albert Dock, so the timing was advantageous as well. It's very reasonably priced and well worth it...I would strongly recommend that you parlay the two tours.

I booked on line and received confirmation of two tickets. On arrival the bar code was for one. At the terminal I tried and failed to contact Viator. Missed the boat literally.

We took the river cruise on two very different days but loved it. It was a bit choppy but nothing too bad. If you sit at the back you get a bit of diesel fumes from the funnel but that's easily rectified.....don't sit at the back.

It was very nice, I loved the breeze and the flying Britain Flag in front of the Ferry. The information was just a little too basic for a tour. Buildings, Museums, the touch of humor was, ok, but a bit dry in comparison to the Ferry Boat Tour in London. We were farther from the shoreline, the view would have been more interesting closer up. It wasn't clear to me if when Visitors got off at one or the other of the 2 Ports, if people were allowed to tour these sights at leisure, or if they had to get back on the ferry boat within the 90 minute journey. There wasn't any Assistant to the Tour Guide on deck, that i could see, so questions weren't answerable.
