Booked and paid but no tour guide showed up. Many notifications about the tour as it got closer to the time but no notice of cancellation or postponement. Hoping for a refund.

Guide did not turn up. Other people waiting too. Number to telephone did not work. Have emailed for refund but have heard nothing. So disappointed as had guests. Gives Liverpool a really bad name . Will not be recommending to anyone
Interesting walking tour of Liverpool WITHOUT too much Beatles obsession
, Sep 2020
I am from Liverpool and booked this tour for my family and a visitor from India. Matthew was our guide and he was very knowledgeable, funny and easy to listen to. We really enjoyed it as we discovered things and even places (like St James Park next to the Anglican Cathedral) which I didn't know existed. I also chose it because it's name suggested it wasn't too Beatles oriented (there are SO many Beatles tours already) and while there was plenty of Beatles info, there was also plenty of history and interesting facts about Liverpool. Maybe a bit of scene setting would have been Liverpool came to be, where it's name originated from etc. Wear stout shpes and be prepared for rain as there is nowhere to shelter on the tour. However, my family and Indian friend loved it. Highly recommended!

The tourguide was excellent. She has a profound knowledge of the history of Liverpool. Funny, professional and this was my best walking tour ever.
Nice tour of Liverpool city center!

This is a great tour that covers many noteworthy locations in the city center with some Beatles stories mixed in. You get a good lay of the area and really cover quite a lot of territory in a short amount of time. John McGuire was my guide and he was very personable and knowledgeable. Perfect way to start a trip in Liverpool!

A great way to get your bearings and find out about Liverpool. The guide had lots of information on the city which really gave us an insight into it's history and it's beautiful architecture. Definitely recommend.
