Disappointed but satisfied

The bus was NOT luxury. Tight leg room for average person. Disappointed with no stop at Hoover Dam. I should have been informed ahead. Happy with both drivers, Tony and Ashley. Ashley did great when we blew a tire. Overall satisfied but will make sure I have better company for tour next time.

Hi, Thank you for leaving Gray Line such a nice 5 star review. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your day with us and our drivers Tony & Ashley. Since 1910 the Gray Line family of nearly 200 worldwide sightseeing companies have been seeking out the best guides in every destination we serve, so it's nice to know our drivers did such a great job. We are sorry that we missed your expectations on our coach, yet most people find our modern coaches to be first rate. The omission of Hoover Dam is due to restrictions put in place by the Bureau of Reclamation (the owners of Hoover Dam) in response to the covid-19 pandemic. On behalf of everyone at Gray Line around the globe, I want you to know that we all hope to see you on another adventure sometime very soon. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service

Please know that the trip Is 15 hours total. We were picked up at 7:15am and back to the hotel almost at 1:00am. Phil was our driver and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. So glad that he got him. The view of the Grand Canyon was amazing.

The driver, Rod and Susan, the guide were wonderful. Very informative. Bus ride was long but fine. For the money, A GREAT VALUE. Highly recommend. Not having to drive to the Canyon was a pleasure as all I had to do was sit back and enjoy.

Canyon view was great but too short
Greg_S
, May 2021
Tour guide Loucious/Lou was very informative. We spent too much time at stops along the way & not enough time @ the canyon viewing. We were told we would be at the canyon 3 hrs not 90 mins. The person who booked us had no idea what pick up location would be closest to our hotel in Las Vegas. Lunch @ the visitor center needed more signs or info on lunch ticket as to what the ticket was redeemable for. There was only 1 small sign, with way too much info to remember that was only visible when you were already having to make choices of what food you wanted.
icon Response from Host , Jun 2021
Dear Greg, Thank for leaving Gray Line feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed our driver/guide Loucious/Lou and the spectacular views at the Grand Canyon. There is no getting around that a day trip from LV to the South Rim makes for a long day as it is over 540 miles roundtrip. While we understand that some guest might want to skip the rest stops, we have found, over 40 years of taking visitors to the Canyon, that most guests want some breaks to stretch their legs, grab a snack and use a restroom that isn't traveling down the highway at speed. On behalf of everyone at Gray Line around the globe, I want you to know that we all hope to see you on another adventure sometime soon- wherever in the world your travels may take you. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service.

Not grand

Pros: pick up was on time. Driver was friendly. Bus was clean. Cons: Bus is cramped/cold. Driver never asked about or adjusted temp. Return was delayed 1 hour bc rude people were late and driver had no method to contact.
icon Response from Host , Jun 2021
Dear Kirk_B, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and leaving us feedback. We are sorry that you were delayed by some inconsiderate guests, however as we have a "duty of care" we are unable to leave without knowing everyone is ok. We are also sorry that you found the coach temperature to be too cold. Temperature on a coach is a very tricky thing as two people, sitting next to each other, can have very different perspectives on whether its too cold or too hot. We are sorry we missed your expectations. On behalf of everyone at Gray Line around the globe I want to wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service.

Great way to see the Grand Canyon
Larando_S

Great tour over all. I was surprised there wasn’t more social distancing on the bus. We received the wrong information about what time to be back at the bus to depart and ended up losing an hour of time we could have been using to explore the Canyon.

Unhappy party of 3
Jerica_M
, Oct 2020
The day before the tour, Gray Line called and told me that the South Rim tour was cancelled and we had to pay an extra $30/person to go to the West Rim. The bus that we were picked up in was a small bus and not the motor coach with the bathroom that we paid for. There was no social distancing as the bus was packed. Because the bus was small it was very uncomfortable. Thankfully our driver did the best he could for us. The food services at the West Rim were extremely slow. It was an hour wait from the time waited in line to place an order. When we got the food it was cold.

Birthday trip
Carolyn_S
, Jun 2020
We actually ended up going to the West Rim due to COVID-19 and the closure of the south rim. The views in the west rim was phenomenal and I did not feel like we missed out by going to the west rim. We added the skywalk experience to our trip and even scared of heights it was amazing. My only negative was on the return trip back to Vegas, the bus AC wasn’t working or it never felt cool in our seats. It was the almost unbearable, I’ve never been so miserable in my life. Maybe there were too many people on the bus or something. Danny our tour guide was amazing, enjoyed listening to him talk about different things along the way to the Grand Canyon. Even with the miserable return trip I would go again.
