What To Expect

At the boat rental shop in South Lake Tahoe, receive a safety briefing about boating on Lake Tahoe and a lesson on how to operate your powerboat. When you’re ready, hop in with your family or friends to begin your adventure on the lake, depending on the option selected when booking.

Cruise across the water at your own pace, checking out Nevada Beach, Crystal Bay, Meeks Bay, Rubicon Point, Skunk Harbor, Sand Harbor or one of several other beaches and coves. Perhaps visit one of Tahoe’s most beautiful and popular spots, Emerald Bay, where you can admire the tiny island in the middle from your boat. If you get hungry, pull up at a lakeside restaurant like Gar Woods or Sunnyside, or use your boat for water sports like knee-boarding, waterskiing, tubing or wakeboarding (you may use your own equipment, if you have it, or rent gear and wetsuits from the boat rental shop).

When your rental period ends, just return your boat to the marina.

Boat rental options (select when booking*)

Class A: A very popular all-sport family runabout that provides smooth handling and a comfortable ride; includes a large interior layout and plenty of storage space for water sports equipment.
• 4.3-liter V6, 190 horsepower; 18.3 feet (5.6 meters); seats seven people

Class B: Boating aficionados will be impressed by this boat’s value and versatility; it provides a smooth ride and superb handling that’s perfect for all types of water sports.
• 5-liter V8, 250 horsepower; 20.3 feet (6.1 meters); seats eight people

Class E: The biggest boat option with an open bow and cockpit seating; includes convenient rear-access storage trunks and an easy-to-board transom walk through.
• 5.7-liter V8, 300 horsepower; 21.6 feet (6.5 meters); seats 10 people

A driver's license is required to operate the boat; persons 18 years and older with a valid driver's license can operate the boat with passengers of any age; persons 16 and 17 years with a valid license can drive the boat but cannot have passengers under 18 years
Children under 18 must be accompanied by the parent or legal guardian, 12 or younger must be in a life jacket while on the boat
It is recommended that you bring sunscreen, towels, sunglasses, sweatshirt or light jacket; food and drinks are welcome
Customers are welcome to use the parking facilities at the marina or walk, as the rental office is in close proximity to all major hotels and casinos in South Lake Tahoe
Customers are welcome to rent water skis, wakeboards, wakeskates, knee boards, inner tubes and wetsuits from the local operator at time of departure
Check-in is required by 9am the day of at local supplier's office for a 10am departure

had so much fun! the crew was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the lake. The boat was good enough for 8people. Were allowed to jump off the boat, bring foods and drinks (beers). We booked the boat to the last min. this is the only company that allows you to jump off the boat. We’ll definitely come back

Had a fantastic time with our 3 elementary age grandchildren. The entire staff was great!!! Knowledgable, friendly, helpful. Everything went perfectly...even though we had very little previous experience, in boating. The boat was nice and there were not any surprise charges at the end. Gas was reasonable... 20 for an hr. Be generous with your tips. The staff deserves ut. It was the highlight of out trip.

The boating experience on Lake Tahoe was great. If you like the cold water it is the best. We were able to wake board and enjoy the beautiful blue water. The scenery from the lake point of view was spectacular. The booking of the boat was less than clear. There was no information during and after the booking process on the location of the marina. And there were no scheduling time listed on when the boat would be available. When we arrive at the marina our boat was not available and we had to pay more for the boat that was available on the time that we request. If I had to do it over I would do more research before I booked with this company.

We had an AWESOME experience! Our deckhand was the nicest guy and I am really bummed I forgot his name. He was kind, knowledgable and very friendly.
