Small group tour to Chernobyl
, Feb 2021
The whole trip was well organized and communication between the organizer worked well. Execution was great and the actual experience in Chernobyl was amazing. Igor, our guide, was nice and experienced. I can recommend SoloEast Travel to everyone!

Our guide, Diana, was very knowledgeable and professional throughout our visit to Chernobyl. She ensured we experienced as much as we could while maintaining our itinerary and safety.
Fantastic day with a fantastic guide.

My husband and I went on the tour last week. The trip far exceeded our expectations, and our guide Igor (not sure how to spell his name) was fantastic. He showed us some of the most amazing places in Pripyat, and he was a fount of knowledge and information. He was extremely accommodating to all our needs, and was patient in explaining everything along the way, especially when I looked confused at some of the information we were being given. Our guide was also driving the minibus, and I must say, his driving was as safe as can be. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in period of the Cold War, and anyone who has seen the Chernobyl series.

The tour was excellent which was led by Diana. She is very knowledgeable about the Exclusion Zone and made sure we visited the best sites on location. This was with an ample amount of time spent there too. Transportation to the site was smooth and had an enjoyable time on location. All of our questions about Chernobyl were thoroughly answered as the tour guide was also very energetic and enthusiastic about the activities. It was also a small group because of COVID 19 which gave more time to explore the site. I highly recommend this Pripyat tour. Thanks!

Took the one day tour on 14 March with Anya. What can I say? From pick up to drop off she was amazing. Anya was so knowledgable about Chernobyl and encouraged us to question her on anything. The trip was a present for my husband who has longed to do this trip for years. And it exceeded all expectations. Nothing was too much trouble for Anya. She even asked if there was anything in particular wanted to see and she would take us there. Lunch was provided which was chicken or pork and although not a la carte, it was lovely. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who is thinking of doing it. The contact from Viator from the minute we booked until getting picked up was prompt. Unfortunately I think our tour was one of the last ones due to Coronavirus shutting down countries but if you ever get the chance to do, you should, before nature takes it all back and there is nothing left to see. It was a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget. Especially thanks to Anya!!

My dear friend, Thanks a lot for such kind words! I am sorry for late respond. We were the last group before closing the Zone. And i think we will not see the same picture again because of fire in Zone now. I will be glad to meet you one more time in future... Best regards... Thank you one more time :-))
Great Overview Trip!
, Mar 2020
This was such a great experience for seeing the Chernobyl exclusion zone. The 2 hour ride from Kyiv was comfortable thanks to our driver, Sergiy, and informative thanks to videos and commentary from our guide, Yulia. We saw the Russian Woodpecker, Chernobyl, Chernobyl 2, and Pripyat, along with the power plant. The lunch that was included was very nice as well. If you want a more immersive experience I would suggest doing the 2 or 3 day trip with this same company, SoloEast Travel.
