Great cultural experience with expert staff

Getting out of the touristy Hurghada to drive through the desert and less touristy cities was a great start and was worth the early rise and long commute. The drivers were friendly and drove safe!
Luxor and the sights there are great, a must-see for sure!
Our guide, Mohammed, guided my girlfriend and I in English and a German couple in fluent German. He was very knowledgeable, as he is a Egyptologist, and ensured a great experience!

Long but interesting drive watching normal Egyptian life, sights and sounds. The sites visited in your imagination and on TV are so much more when seen in person. My sister and my guide was lovely and we were fortunate to have him all to ourselves as other passengers were German and needed their own

Although still mostly a good trip, we were very disappointed by a few things. There were two guides on our trip, one German speaking and one English speaking. The German speaking guide was enthusiastic, engaging and pointed out many things from the coach to the German group, with in-depth explanations and he guided the them around the temples and tombs, again with detailed information. Unfortunately we do not understand much German and the English speaking guide spent a lot of his time on his phone and largely left us to explore without him, only giving us a little information when asked.
The expected serene felucca ride turned out to be on a noisy/smelly motor boat rather than a felucca sail boat.
We drove past the Colossus of Memnon on the way to the Valley of the Kings and were told we’d stop there for photos on the way back but again we just drove past! 🤷♂️
