Mural Instagram Tour

We are long term Houston residents who were unaware of the street art in our town. We took the tour with another couple who were ex Houstonian residents. It was an excellent way to visit and tour at the same time. Our guide. a New Orleans transplant, had done a lot of research into the artists and the background so he was both informed and personable/

We enjoyed having a small group of friends on our tour. It made it easier for me to take photos. Our guide was quite knowledgeable.

Truly unique experience & wonderful guides. Highly recommend this outing for a change of pace, even for locals!

Let me start with how excited I was to do this but it ended up being a terrible experience! I was visiting from FL by myself for 2 days so I purchased my ticket around 10a.m for the 1:00 tour(the same day) since the 12 noon one was already full. I took an Uber from my hotel($30.) to the address shown by Market Square. I couldn't find the exact location where I needed to go so I called at 12:45 & no answer. I also asked at a few of the restaurants right there but they didn't know either. Finally at exactly 1:00(when the tour is suppose to start) a woman calls me back and says and I quote "Hey, sorry but we are full & we don't do solo tours anyway so we will work on getting you a refund. It may take 3-5 business days". I explained to her that I was very disappointed and was only here for 2 days by myself & had already took a Uber down there could they please make an exception. She said "no just keep an eye out for that refund, we use a lot of third party websites and are very busy" and hangs up the phone. I was very upset and disappointed with how she spoke to me & just dismissed me on the phone and called me when the tour was suppose to start. This is not how you conduct a business.

I'm a Houston native and learned something new and beautiful about our amazing city! I loved it! And just like Houston, it was hot. A friend had a Neckfan and I was jealous. So worth the heat! Now I'm seeing murals and mini murals all over the city that I've never even noticed before.

We loved this tour!!! Best thing we did while we were in Houston! Julie was our guide and was super awesome, funny, and courteous! The organizers reached out several times to make sure we knew where to be, and our guide was waiting for us right where she said she’d be! We loved the murals and loved going to graffiti park! Would recommend to anyone who likes art of all kinds!

Sara was absolutely great!! She is extremely knowledgeable about the artists and city of Houston. You can tell she enjoys her job and made our experience a very memorable one! Thanks again Sara.

I absolutely loved this tour! This was me and my boyfriend’s first time in Houston so it was nice to see all the beautiful murals and street art. They were experts in the history of the art as well as the artist who created it. I highly recommend that if you are visiting Houston to do this tour!

Great ride in fun golf cart to see the best murals, hear the history and symbolism, look for clues, and learn a little bit more about Houdton. As the title indicates dozens of opportunities for very unique and colorful pics. Marna and her husband were just fill of info, and very pleasant. Tour lasted a little over an hour. Well worth it. One tip - if you're trying to book via Viator for same day, after booking call joyride directly. When I called to figure out pickup instructions as my location wasn't in drop down, they were glad I did as they often see a notification delay of several hours from viator reservations.

My sister and I loved the Instagram mural tour! It was so amazing to see the beautiful street art of Houston. Our tour guide; Sarah, was extremely knowledgeable about the art/artists, and she was so enthusiastic which made the ride even more enjoyable and fun. Overall, the tour is such an amazing experience and I highly recommend it.
