We met the friendly skipper on arrival, we’re escorted to the large catamaran and then spent the next four hours blissfully travelling around looking for and at the whales as they moved around us. On departure, the skipper took us all the back along the coast of K’ gari Island, past the coloured sands and safety back to shore.

Lovely, friendly and knowledgeable crew and captain, they obviously have a passion for the what they do. Smaller boat, so didn’t feel crowded and nice to be closer to the waterline. We had a beautiful 1/2 hour with Mum and Bub whales, plus dolphins who were all playing together. We then experienced a very active male breaching and fin slapping, plus multiple pods just cruising past. There were turtles, dolphins and shoals of fish. It was a spectacular morning. I can’t wait to revisit.
