Gyeongju UNESCO World Heritage Sites and History Full-Day Tour with Lunch

Steve was a great guide, very knowledgable, and knew which places had a lot of history and which ones just looked cool but is mostly for commerce. We had a small group so we were able to enjoy a nicer car on the long drive thanks to the company. The city itself is also really beautiful - all the buildings have traditional architecture so you feel like you’re traveling back in time even when going between sights. I never knew the Silla capital was so huge!

Great tour and tour guide! Very knowledgeable and accommodating in light on in coming typhoon. Instead of the shrine, we went to two marvelous museums.

Last minute booking and I was fortunate enough to be the only person attending the tour on the day. I had a great time. The tour guide CK was very informative and accommodating. He was laid back, easy to talk to and good to have a banter with. It was like having a close friend showing you the sites.

Left Busan at 7 am, when it is still cool and not crowded. Took 1 and a half hour to reach. We saw the temples first, then lunch then city tour of Shilla capital and tomb and lastly, small traditional village. Finished by 3pm. Compact, but not rushed. Beth was an excellent guide, chirpy, funny, and so energetic! Highly recommended.

Great tour! Ended up being the only person on this day and was great opportunity to learn a lot about Korean culture and history. CK was happy to answer questions and went out of his way to find Korean food for lunch that i hadn't tried yet! Bulguk Temple and Seokguram Grotto are wonderful! Highly recommend

I love the tour, we went to the important sites Beth explain to us and answers all our question, she help us with translations, pictures and explain to us the culture of Korea! She’s very nice and professional! The car was neat! I definitely recommend this tour

Steve is a great tour guide. He explained everything clearly and in detail and he also gave us time to take some photos of the different places. He also took some pictures of us and sent them to our emails. It is a highly recommended tour , not only for Steve, but also for the different sites and the history and culture that we learnt.

Me and my partner would both highly recommend this tour and we would especially like to commend our excellent tour guide, Beth, on a fantastic day! Both of us had only a tiny bit of background knowledge about the Silla Dynasty, and Beth did an excellent job of keeping us informed we were both fascinated to learn more in depth about this period of Korean history and it has made us keen to learn more in the future. We were lucky in that we were the only people booked on the trip that day, and Beth picked us up straight from our hotel exactly on time, maximising our time in Gyeongju. The minivan was a comfortable way to travel even for people like me who are tall and slightly on the plump side, and Beth was kind enough to provide umbrellas to protect us from the weather. This is definitely the best way to experience Gyeongju. The sites are very spread out, so having a knowledgeable guide who knows the most efficient routes is a big help, as is having someone to explain the history behind the area in more depth. We were extremely glad we booked this tour and will certainly remember it as one of the big highlights of our time in Korea. Thanks again to Beth five stars on all fronts!

Steve was an excellent tour guide. Very good knowledge about the sites, flexible, as we started the tour in Busan and he dropped us after the tour at our hotel in Gyeongju. Very enjoyable day, thank you!
