Fun way to see the city

Went on the historic tour by the Galveston Experience Company. While there was a video, we received a custom experience. Our tour guide, Willy Dee, was very informative about all the major landmarks in the city. Our tour was all about the turtles and finding more of the beautiful painted ones. I would definitely go on this tour again, just to be able to relax and see the sites.

While there was some interesting history provided during the bus ride, it was much less informative than we expected. We would value this tour at $10-$15 per person. Definitely not worth $27 each.

Of the thousands of people who have taken this tour, yours is the first time price has been an issue. Operational costs for a full size multi-media tour bus including a, guide, insurance, City of Galveston fees, fuel, etc. make it impossible to operate in the price range you suggested.
Due to overwhelmingly positive reviews, TripAdvisor has upgraded the rating of this tour to "Excellent" - we're sorry that wasn't your feeling as well.
