This trip was amazing and definitely worth the money. Not only did we see 3 beautiful UNESCO villages we finished with a lovely wine tasting. It was our guide, Constantine’s first tour since Covid-19 lock down and he was amazing. He was so informative and even went out of his way to show us highlights of the villages. You could tell he was genuinely excited to share his knowledge. The lunch was plentiful and delicious. A fantastic day in Tuscany.

San Gimignano was beautiful and the Chianti wine tour was awesome. This was a good way to see a lot of areas in one day.

Great trip even though the weather is not good. We covered three city/towns alone the way and a very enjoyable wine tasting. We were thinking about a private tour for double the cost. We are very happy to join the group tour and made few friends alone the way. Tour guide and driver are great and same as the group member, we waited few minutes for one couple and event less the rest of the way. Highly recommended. Especially for the first time. If you really like the region, you can always spend more time later. For starter, it is a very good introduction.

Great combination or visits with good amount of time at each destination. Particularly liked the wine tasting at the end! Group size was quite large. (Make sure you take an umbrella!)

Dear customer Thanks for writing your feedback, we are so happy to know that you appreciate our work! In Tuscany it normally doesn't rain in this period, apart from rare occasions. We hope we will be lucky enough to have you on board again in the future! Kind Regards Ciaoflorence Staff

Great way of getting a feel for Tuscany when time is limited!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. It is a full day tour with lots packed in - a great way of getting lots done on limited time. Our guide for the day was lovely, full of knowledge and interesting facts yet also gave you space throughout the day. I found I had plenty of time at each stop off except for siena but that’s because there was just too much to see and do, just means I’ll have to return! The wine tour was a nice change in pace, please don’t expect a full on vineyard tour but more of a taster - perfect for us who had children.

Dear client Thanks for joining us and for your comment! We can't say enough how much we are appreciative for that! You got the point! Our tour is the best deal to cover a lot in one day, get a good taste of a whole region and give you a reason to come back... next time you already know where you want to stay longer :) We wish you all the best Regards Ciaoflorence Staff

Andrea was a wonderful guide, hardworking , smiley , polite and able to keep us on track - the things we need- well done ! Maybe the wine even though enjoyable at lunch may not be necesssry as wine tasting that follows is very adequate .

Guides were ok - Locations were good, but the tour could have been better

First, it was supposed to be a group of about 25. There were over 50! Marked down one star for that. The locations: San Gimignano is a lot of uphill walking. It was nice, but very difficult to find a bathroom outside of the restaurants. Worth it to purchase a gelator or coffee and use the restaurant facilities. THe guide was okay but could have been better. Same can be said of Monteriggioni. For Siena, the guide was okay, but we were then passed off to another guide. There was a bit of confusion. The Siena guide herself while knowledgeable, kept harping on the contention between the people of Florence and the people of Siena that occurred several hundred or more years ago. I felt like telling her to get over it! Regarding the wine tasting, with all the vineyards around, we would have liked more time visiting more than one small winery. If I would do it again, I would investigate taking a different tour with a guarantee of a smaller group.

Dear customer We thank you for the feedback you gave us, your opinion is really important to us! Consider that you have travelled during the high touristic season when, you probably knew, it is the busiest moment of the year! If this could be your only time here consider how much worthwhile it was despite the number of people around... these places are gorgeous all year round! For the next time you might be here: we also arrange private tours or smaller groups should you prefer this option :) We would be glad to organize something customized for you! We do hope you will get the chance to come back soon and change your mind, take care! Kind Regards Ciaoflorence Staff

Booked for Engliish speaking tour but ended up with English/Italian. It was very offputting also when he was speaking English the Italian people kept talking so we couldn’t hear him at times. The Guide kept racing ahead and many of us were unable to keep up with him. It was nearly an eleven hour day and we had a 12 month old child who screamed non stop all day which was very annoying. Feel that these sort of tours should maybe limited to a certain age group. Enjoyed what we saw.

Generally good preview, but expected more...

This was a typical itinerary and we were looking forward to it. Note that the bus station meeting point was very tricky to find!. Please give a map beforehand in viator to show how to find the tour. Bus guides were generally good, however the local guide in Sienna was in a hurry and wasn't very helpful when asked how to reach St Catherine's shrine which we wanted to see.. she barely lasted 20 minutes... we managed better asking a local Italian postal worker. It would have been better to just give everyone a map of the Sienna and point out interest points and give us the entire time to use instead of meeting the local guide. It was a pretty large tour group too.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2019
Dear client Thank you for your feedback. The meeting point is decided by the municipality and is quite easy to find being the only town touristic bus terminal, near the main train station and centrally located. Besides, the Siena guided visit lasts 1 hour always which service is given by very experienced and good local tour guides. We are very sorry to know that you haven't particularly loved this part of your day tour. Wishing you the best Kind Regards Ciaoflorence Staff
