We traveled on a small bus with 27 in our group. Giulia kept our group informed on what to expect and gave us many interesting details on the areas we were seeing. The towns were lovely.

I thought this was a great tour and I loved that you visited three towns. The tour guide was wonderful, really friendly and informative. The bus was comfortable as well. My only comment is that I wished we had more time in Montepulciano. Highly recommend.

A lovely day trip to the Orcia Valley with Valentina as our guide. The views and commentary were wonderful, aided by a clear, sunny day. I felt that too much time was spent in Montalcino, just the right amount in Pienza and not nearly enough in Montepulciano. Wine tastings were good and informative, but I'd forego the optional lunch at restaurant in Montalcino to do your own thing, as the food was average at best. Overall, a good day trip for beautiful scenery and wine education, but if your goal is to spend a lot of time in the three lovely hill towns, rent a car and maybe spend a night in Montepulciano instead.

Not what I had expected

I though we were visiting vineyards.. not the case.. you visit two wineries... basically wine shops and one cheese market to sample Pecorino Cheeses.. I’m not quite sure the description of the day honed in on just what a difficult walk was involved.. very steep inclines and a lot of steep stair ways.. had I known that I would not have booked .. husband has knee issues

Dear customer Thank you for your feedback, we feel sorry to know that you didn't enjoy the Ciaoflorence experience that much and we would like to kindly specify that the tour is clearly described into the website. The tour goes to some of the most beautiful towns we have in Tuscany, they belong to an area called Val D'Orcia (the valley itself, where these towns are, is a Unesco site and corresponds to the classical Tuscany postcard image). In two of these towns there is also the visit to a winery, apart from the free time given to customers to enjoy on their own. In the third town there is the visit to a cheese place that is typical of Pienza. About the distance, you will understand that the bus is not allowed by law to drive any closer (and... there would no be any space for a bus!). This is the general law that protects all the Unesco places from pollution and chaos. However, the towns are very small, there are not very long walks and no need to walk fast. This is a long but smooth tour. Montepulciano, the last stop, is located on the top of a hill and from the spot where the bus can drop people off and the main square there is quite a steep part to walk but it really takes five minutes. We wish you to come back in the future and enjoy it better and we wish your husband to get better soon, we are sorry for his troubles! Kind Regards Ciaoflorence Staff

Average tour for the money

Our guide Julia was super sweet with energy but lacked with information. Very little history of the area. Disappointed that 45 English maybe 3/4 Hispanic so she repeated everything in both languages. Would have been better if she assigned the 3/4 by her so she could turn off her mic. Got a bit obnoxious. Traveled 45 min then stopped for a bathroom break... why? We waited 25 min for everyone. On the return same thing waste of time. The first winery was a joke. Two little sips of tastings that’s it! Second tasting was 3 very very little drops! Lunch not included so this tour profited a great deal! Tuscany in one day gave you an incredible deal! Would not recommend this tour! Disappointed!

Great tour to see the country side of Tuscany and small villages Tour guide was very informative and let us know what to expect all along the tour Down side - thought this would be a small tour of 25 and ended up being a large group with half English and half South American - a lot of work for the tour guide to speak in both languages all day long - disappointed it wasn’t more personal

The wine country is beautiful and the wine itself was excellent. Our tour guide was very informative. We had a terrific group of people on the tour that made it a pleasure to wine and dine with.

Julio the guide was awesome! Cities were more than expected... wish we had more time. Bus seats were not comfortable, but the usb charger for each seat was nice. Spotty WiFi access on bus. Make sure to wear comfy shoes because there are plenty of stairs and inclines. I would do this again thru this tour company.
