We have our personalized tour with Chiara. She was very knowledgeable about art and history. We learned a lot with her. She was waiting patiently for me to climb the stair at the Duomo. If you want to know about arts and history of David and Duomo this is the right Tour for you. Also the tickets are good for 72 hours so we have a chance to come back and do the bell tower ourselves. We had a great young lady guide who was very knowledgeable with facts and history. We had a group of 2 so it made for a great day. We managed to climb the steps of the Dome and glad we did. Florence is beautiful city and were very lucky to have gone there.

We had the best day ever!! It was me, my husband and our 17 and 14 year olds. Lisa our tour guide was absolutely phenomenal! She walked us through the Accademia to see the David then walked us around Florence. We learned an enormous amount and we could not be happier with our experience! We ended with the climb to the top of the duomo which was a lot of stairs but OMG totally worth it!

Excellent small group tour!

Excellent small group tour of David and the Dome. If you are interested in a quick tour of the history, culture, and architecture of both these tourist sites in a small group environment, then this one can be highly recommended. Because it was fairly small, it was not obvious how to meet up - but fortunately, finding them at the meet up location (basically the entrance to the Academia Gallery where there are a lot of people walking around and in lines) was not bad - maybe the in future a sign would make it easier to find the group? Walked around the Duomo first describing the outdoor architecture, bell tower, history, and context of the Duomo. Then went into the Baptistery of St John with a great description of the key points. Walked over to the Academia and toured a short bit before visiting David. This concluded the end of the tour but each person has a set time to get into the line to climb the Duomo. You do that on your own. The ticket also allowed climbing the Bell Tower in the next 72 hours. Overall, a great no frills tour. Note, you are not allowed to use the ticket to re-enter the Academia so plan accordingly.

This was the most efficient way to visit both the Duomo and the David! The tour and tour guide timed everything perfectly so we could visit the baptistry, the museum, the cathedral and the David and then climb the steps at our leisure in the end. It was well worth the cost and I would recommend this to anyone who has not been to Florence before.

Florence is a difficult city to operate especially in the height of the summer. We put a lot of effort into working with the best network of local guides and organize the visits and of course purchase pre-reserved tickets! I am very glad that it all worked well with you. Let us know when you need other tours in Europe. Thank you.

I lucked out with this tour and was apparently the only one who booked for that session. Unlike other tour groups that might cancel for lack of bookings this tour was not. This meant that I got a personal guide for David and the Duomo. my person guide Elena was knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the tour.
