Overall it was a great day! It would be great to spend a little more time in the mountains, Wicklow Gap and get to the Guinness lake. We felt that spending 3 hrs in Glendalogh was too much and we got bored. 1,5 would be better and get come early or some other location.

The entire trip was great. We visited the places as per the itinerary, our tour guide Harry was fun and kept the stories engaging and educational. We had the opportunity to spend a good amount of time at Glendalough, and it was perfect. The visit to the sheep farm was awesome, thanks to Mike who demonstrated the sheepdog exhibition. The drive had the stops calculated perfectly, it was smooth and enjoyable.

Lovely day in Wicklow and Glendalough

This was another wonderful experience with Irish Day Tours. The group was smaller which allowed us to drive through parts of Wicklow that would only allow smaller buses. Our guide Connor led the way on what was a fun trip with visits to an actual sheep farm and the beautiful national park of Ireland. I loved this day from start to finish!

Just an OK tour

This tour was really nothing to write home about. The Wicklow Mountains are beautiful and the highlight by far was the last stop of Glendalough which was a large park that entailed paved walking paths through the woods that wrapped around two lakes and really cool and well preserved ruins of a monastery complex complete with a graveyard, cathedral and bell tower. The rest of the tour seems like filler stuff that we really could have done without to shorten the long day. The stop in Hollywood we felt was pointless, the Wicklow Gap while beautiful was just a 10 minute stop to get off the bus to take in the vista and the stop at Baltinglass Abbey never happened without explanation???

I liked the sheepdog demonstration very much and the long time we had to walk in Glendalough along the lakeside and up to the hill. The driver did a very good job also as a guide.

Overall a fabulous day trip! Excellent, highly knowledgeable tour guide throughout. The bus itself is very comfortable. The Sheep dog demonstration is a real spectacle, something different and interesting for ages. The Glendalough Valley is a real gem, world class area of outstanding beauty.

Conor was a great guide. Pointed out the must not misses and gave us enough time to enjoy them all! Our first time in Ireland out of Dublin, the scenery was incredible, and of course very green!
