Bad organiser
Disappointed
, Sep 2020
Let me review the tour organiser, not the destinations per se (which were wonderful btw, just use different organiser!) When travelling in Covid-19 times, one would expect more safety and care from tour organiser. We were not socially distanced in the bus. In theory everyone should have the mask on, but it was not respected. I have contacted the company prior to trip and I was assured that everyone must wear a mask at all times. It doesn't apply to children apparently. We had a small girl on board, breathing through mouth and touching everything with hands. Then, there was also plenty of adults, that with approval of driver, kept drinking coffee on board. This clearly mean that the mask were off, and not per sip but from start to finish of the beverage. Now, despite information in the website, the company did not provide face masks. If you have decided to use this tour organiser you must take the mask with yourself. Other than no social distancing and not obeying mask rules, I think there was not enough time to explore anything. We had to rush through locations, and we could not even enter to rope bridge, with is totally understandable but it's just better to wait until restrictions go down if you want to see it. We just had a stop to look at it from a distance for 10 minutes, and we were not advised beforehand about this change. Remember that you need to be on time on the collection point. We left last collection point at 7:23 where it was advised to be at 7:20, so make sure you arrive on time or earlier! Please select different organiser for your own safety and comfort!

Tour review

We booked our trip to Ireland before the Covid-19 pandemic took over. We still flew out knowing that there was a social distancing guideline in place and a lot of the museums, bars and restaurants were closed. Luckily the tour still went ahead, which was a relief and also nice to get out of Dublin for the day. Tiernan (Big ginger T) was our coach driver and tour guide and he was fantastic. He kept us entertained throughout the day with lots of historical information and facts and the odd one liner thrown in. It is a very long day, we set off for the coach pick up point at 6.45am and eventually got back to the hotel at 8.45pm, but it is worth it to see all the sights that we did. This tour is highly recommended.

Not a Game of Thrones fan

The bus was comfortable and Dermot was as nice as he could be. Didn’t really see the point in stopping in Belfast on a Sunday evening when things were closed and stopping by a couple of Game of Thrones sites when I’ve never seen an episode. While lunch was delicious, I felt it was crowded and rushed.

It was a lovely tour. Dermont Was a great guide and gave us a little history of each place. I was traveling alone and met great people on this tour and had a lot of fun. We lucked out with the weather and we were able to see and do everything. The seats were comfortable and had usb ports in-between them to charge phones. They bring you to a spot for lunch but it is not included in the price. I brought my own lunch to save some money. I would recommend this tour to others.

This was a great trip if you want to make a quick tour of the highlights of Northern Ireland. We had a fantastic and charismatic tourleader in Lee Heritage, who was funny, knowledgeable and really took care of the whole group. The timing was impeccable, down to having our lunch orders ready in time. Just remember to pack waterproofs!

Great trip with family to visit Northern Ireland, and all the sites it has. Giant causeway, Riddick bridge, dark hollows, and Belfast were all a great stop along the way. The driver was very friendly and had great trivia/ history of the region.

Very enjoyable. We thought we would be driving along the coast and would have enjoyed that option. Otherwise, great value for money.
