Dont trust this one

The only experience i got from this, is standing outside of my hotel from 7:20 Til 7:55 and no trace of picking up. Tried to contact tour operator to get at least my money back and calls are just bouncing to voice mail. I feel stupid and cheated.

A great day trip

This was a great day. We first stopped at King John's castle which was amazing and well preserved. Then drove out to the Cliffs. We were fortunate to have a fairly clear day, but as usually it was incredibly windy. It was a spectacular sight and shouldn't be missed. Our guide Patrick took us to a great pub for lunch, and then we drove along the coast to head back to Dublin. He kept the trip interesting with amusing and historical stories.

Long day, but worth it

The whole day was over 13 hours, but there was plenty of time to sleep in the way back to Dublin. It was a great trip to see the west coast of Ireland.

Thoroughly enjoyed this once in a lifetime trip to the Cliffs of Moher. They were breathtaking to view. Our guide Patrick was awesome, he was funny, informative and no nonsense. Definitely made for a great tour. Please note there is an optional boat ride to see the cliffs from the oceanside that is not included so please bring some euro's along for that. I would recommend.

Best Part of our Trip

Jimmy made this the best part of our trip! He was super informative and kept the energy going during such a long day, and gave us plenty of bathroom/coffee breaks during the long drive. He gave us lots of options in order to make our small group happy. The only thing I would add is that the ticket should mention that water isn't provided. Thankfully we stopped at a service plaza where we could grab some water, but it is a full day of walking. But, I would highly recommend this tour!

Fun Cliffs of Moher Day Trip from Dublin
LizNCraig

We took a day trip from Dublin to St John's Castle and Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs were beautiful and as an extra treat we got to do both of the boat ride and hike up to view the cliffs. We would not have enjoyed the experience nearly as much without the boat ride and are appreciative to our tour guide Roe for giving us the option to add this. The Cliffs are breathtaking - I do wish we would have had bit more time there. St. John's Castle was interesting, but a short visit. The round-trip journey from Dublin is long, so we had a couple of comfort stops including Bunratty Castle on the way back (but not enough time to explore - we stopped for ~ 45 minutes). Roe was a fun tour guide. I do wish we would have stopped for lunch at Gus O'Connor's pub in Doolin (as many other tours do as per the reviews I read) and we honestly could have skipped the Bunratty Castle stop in exchange for more time at the Cliffs. But overall it was a good (long) day.

This is a really nice trip! We had a wonderful day with Patrick, our driving guide. He was higlhy informative, entertaining and just a great guy. Spontaneously arranged a boat trip under the Cliffs for us, as the weather conditions were so exceptionally good and we enjoyed the whole day and his talk very much. Thank you, Patrick!

Little Disapointed

Booked this tour for the small van option as we were wanting a little more personal experience as opposed to other “big bus” tours offered. Also booked this tour after reading reviews and read that there were times when weather permitting you could view the Cliffs from the water. The tour was so booked we ended up on a smaller bus not a Van...still better than the massive tour bus but disappointing-plus late pick up as the driver had more stops which sadly makes less time on the Cliffs. No water was provided on the bus as advertised. The option of seeing the Cliffs from the water was wonderful. However there was also another charge of course. No option of strolling through the village of Doolin as you are herded like cattle to the boat and if you aren’t early you won’t get a view from the deck you’ll be stuck underneath with limited view. Then herd you off the boat to the Irish Pub for lunch. Food was amazing however no choice in where to eat. Could skip the Castle-very underwhelming. Spend more time on the Cliffs instead. Cliffs were incredible and sell themselves however the time allotted was less than advertised and rushed. Cliffs were 5/5, didn’t have time to explore the information area. Guide was informative and gave great tips. Go Right at the Cliffs! Especially if you are short on time.

It was not a small group tour

I booked this tour because it says it is a small group tour. Out pick up was 20 minutes late and it was not a 16 passenger mini van but 30 + coach bus. Bottle water was not given either. This tour was not the one the description says. A group of 15 people and a group of 30+ are totally different. After all, we paid more money for small group tour and received less. Wrong business practice!! Viator company should look into this case.
