Our guide was a long term resident of the island and as such was very knowledgeable on the best places to go and the best things to see. We were staying in Playa del Carmen and had a 5 min taxi journey to get the ferry over to Cozumel Island. The seaweed on the mainland was pretty bad this time of year, something we were unaware of being an issue but there were protected areas of Cozumel that had no seaweed so we could enjoy the water and see the coral reefs and fish when snorkeling. We were taken all around the island stopping at various beauty points for photo opportunities, souvenirs and exploring as required. The tour also included the snorkeling, an afternoon snack (cerviche de pescado and tacos for the vegetarian.) Beers and water were on hand as and when we wanted them, tour of the lighthouse, museum and crocodile park, tequila tasting and finished with traditional Mexican tortillas (beef, chicken and vegetable options) This tour was definitely value for money and made all the better by our tour guide!

Henri was a wonderful guide. He gave us various options to help plan our tour adventure, but most importantly when he noticed my husband had some walking handicap issues, he called to exchange our 2 door jeep for a 4 door one which was amazing and very helpful. Henri recommended shopping stops that were very good and authentic artisan crafted items. Eco Park, Punta Sur, the lighthouse and Tequila factory were all amazing. Lunch was at a very eclectic and local family owned restaurant that was really wonderful. This was a perfect day & a great tour of Cozumel.

Most memorable experience- Johny, our guide - couldn’t ask for someone better to experience the island with. Knowledge, friendly and made sure to reiterate it’s our day to explore the island and he’s along for the ride. Jeep was in great shape. We picked the locations we wanted to stop in and skipped what we didn’t want to do. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat and will likely do this again to see what we didn’t have time for on the next trip. Only recommendation to company is when booking asking if you want a jeep with top off or on. Ours was on, but had planned for it being off - but since it was a hard top, couldn’t remove it and keep it somewhere. Other than that “preference” have NOTHING negative to say about this excursion.

Best tour of Cozumel with many stops!

Francisco (aka Paco) was a great tour guide! When we arrived, the tour manager informed us that their Jeeps were having mechanical issues, but offered our tour to be provided in a convertible Mustang! I think this made it even better so we had no obstruction of our view while riding. Our tequila tasting was very informative as well as the rest of the tour on the east side of Cozumel. We ate lunch at a local restaurant and we were the only people there which made it enjoyable and quiet. Our tour ended at Sky Reef beach club and wasn't crowded. Was able to snorkel and see some ocean life I hadn't seen before including an octopus! Definitely worth the money to take this tour, would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the busyness near the ports and see the island you probably wouldn't see otherwise!

Great way to see the Island

This really was a fun way to see the Island . Jose was a great guide and we loved listening to his music on the drive around Cozumel. First stop was snorkelling, followed by a trip to Punta Sur Ecological park, a visit to San Martin beach , Tequila tasting and finally lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. Lunch was nachos and fajitas and was more generous that we expected, compared to a similar experience in a restaurant at Playa del Carmen a few days previous. Jose also offered us cold drinks during the tour which was appreciated in the heat of the day. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great tour with just my husband and I. The guide was very good about doing the things we wanted to do and skipping things we did not want to do. I had been to Cozumel so many times and I thought I had seen everything, but we were able to see and do things that we have never done before. Good job!

We signed up for a Jeep tour to be picked up in a old VW “buggy” shown in the picture. Was told the Jeeps were in for repair. As we toured the island we saw 100’s of Jeeps. Ernie, our guide, saved the trip! Knowledgeable about the history, the island culture, great places to stop, and being our snorkeling guide! He made our day very enjoyable!

Carlos was amazing! This trip was amazing! We started with a snorkel off of a beautiful beach (it’s pretty shallow for those who are nervous). And then to a state park/ruin, best mojitos ever in a cute beachside bar, tequila tasting, etc. would highly recommend.

We had Yared as our driver/ tour guide Excellent!!! Amazing, knowledgeable, friendly. Initial misunderstanding completely compensated by outstanding tour with Yared . Too bad chankanoob park was closed. Also no food at the beach since the folks stopped participating with Viator as of now! But made the most of our time due to highly resourceful Yared who was so keen on making sure we enjoyed ourselves.
