I booked a tour of the Ahambre Palace which was very good. The guide could not be faulted and his English was very good.
Having booked Cordoba for a guided tour we were very disappointed to find that it was in Spanish. I did not expect to check that it was in English as the web site was in English.
Very disappointed that we paid for a guided tour that we did not get.

The guide seemed very knowledgeable but very hard to understand. Her accent was so thick you could make out about every third word. Luckily there were hearing devices or it would’ve been impossible. The tour was supposed to be an hour and a half and was about an hour and 10 minutes. It was not one of my better experiences with Viator.

Guide (Joaquin) was absolutely excellent. The tour was a bit crowded and (the worst part) we were not allowed to stay in the site after the tour was done. We had to go outside to return our audio system and were not allowed back in. They guide explained this at the start of the tour (he said something about a local religious leader's request), but I would not have booked had I known this beforehand. 1 hour and 15 mins is simply not enough for a rich and wonderful site like this.

Overall a very good tour. I hate to be critical of someone's English who's from Spain as I don't speak any Spanish past hola; however, the guide we had was a little more challenging for us to understand than other tour guides we had in Spain. He was very knowledgeable and we did learn a lot. I would not hesitate to do this group tour.

The one hour tour group was too...

The one hour tour group was too large. The guide did not seem to be concerned with the size of group and moved about without any marker. He only devoted 5 minutes to the Cathedral part. He dismissed us and asked for headphones back in one of the most crowded spots of Cathedral- the Choir. We were very disappointed.

Our guide did a fantastic job. She was informative and very knowledgeable. We were there on an incredibly crowded day, and our guide was able to cope effectively with the vast number of people and other tour groups milling around. She was able to keep our group together, and move us around the Mosque for an excellent tour. Highly recommended.
