Impressive mosque and synagogue

Angel was a fantastic guide. We could feel his passion for the city. He described the history and construction of the mosque very well. We could imagine the Caliph holding court here for 10,000 people. We were also moved to see a fully intact synagogue, as well as a statue memorializing the great Maimonides.

Majid gave us an outstanding tour, sharing lots of information, history, culture and fun facts in a lighthearted way! Negotiating the Jewish quarter was efficient, and his chronological presentation of the mosque-cathedral made it so easy to understand and appreciate. We would recommend the tour and especially Majid to anyone!

A really excellent way to get to understand the religious influences at play throughout Cordoba's interesting history. Angel was an exceptional guide whose smooth delivery informed and guided us through the interplay between the Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities. Angel offered insights that aren't found in any one guidebook. The tour made our visit to Cordoba very worthwhile. Thank you!

what an amazing place it is huge great architecture. angel was our guide-he was very informative great history of the mosque and jewish quarter. at the mosque, we picked up another group making our group way to large for the immense crowds that were there-it was hard to hear even with the ear pieces in and angel walked fast without a sign so it was easy to lose him. the crowding and process to get in were awful-push and shove. once in it was ok since the place is huge. I would rethink the time -we started at 1215-lots of people. nice place though

This is a good tour for the price and it does give you an overview of the city quickly which is what we wanted since we only had 1 night there. The tour guide was knowledgable and well spoken. However, it is a large group tour, which is why the price is so low. That means you will be in a group with more than 20 people and you will be wearing head phones to hear the guide and will be following the guide through small, crowded streets. A lot of people from Seville and Granada take bus tours to Cordoba for the day so we went on a busy day. Just far warning! It's a little chaotic. But the tour guide did a great job and the ticket to the Mezquita is included, so you get to skip the line.

You always have a modern audio device to listen better to the guide.
