A great way to see Colombo

Wonderful tour! Just the right length. Going by tuktuk is the best way to explore Colombo, and this tour gives a good cultural overview of the city. My guide Maran was very well-informed, very welcoming and just an overall great presence to be around. Highly recommend this tour if you're in Colombo and have half a day to spare.

A long walk to the Tuk Tuk due to new security rules but our Guide tried to find a connecting Tuk Tuk to take us to his parked away from the quay and eventually we hitched a lift.
Our Guide was extremely polite knowledgeable and helpful. The lunch was not of a western standard of cleanliness (in fact huge dead bug in the washroom) but food was lovely and served by very friendly lady.
Could do without the tea experience as this is just trying to sell you expensive tea.
Our guide provided snacks: coconut from street vendor and street food at seafront. He was superb.

J’ai eu la chance de vivre cette expérience ce matin même avec Maran, et c’était fabuleux. Excellent accueil de Maran qui m’a offert un Thambili comme boisson de bienvenue (un fruit juste ouvert pour y passer une paille), c’était excellent. Ensuite nous avons pris la route dans les rues parfois assez chaotiques de Colombo en nous arrêtant de temps en temps pour visiter des temples ou prendre des photos. C’était magnifique! Maran était très gentils et à répondu à toutes mes questions avec plaisir. J’ai pu tester le café et le thé Sri Lankais et Maran nous a emmené dans un restaurant typique Sri Lankais où il a pris soin que l’on nous serve seulement ce que l’on voulait (végétarien et pas trop épicé pour moi).
C’était vraiment une très chouette expérience que je recommande vivement! Merci Maran pour ce superbe moment! C’était mon premier jour au Sri Lanka aujourd’hui et ça commence vraiment très bien! 😉
