Nice experience. Good views.

The overall tour and sites were good. It was better when we got a driver that did the descriptions. The canned taped narrative was a little hokey. The 45 minute pick up gaps were a little long.

Terrible night tour!!!

September 10 we had our night tour on the big bus. The driver was absolutely horrible, we were terrified to ride on the bus to the point we were not sure if we’re going to get alive to our destination. First of all he never turned on the lights and we were driving in complete darkness, not to mention he was riding his brakes all the way, jerking that bus like it was a ragdoll. We had to hold on for our lives, other ways we will be literally thrown out of the bus. That man should have his license suspended forever, especially driving public transportation like that. I had never been terrified in my life on the bus!!! I hope the company will look up who was the driver on that night and FIRE that man, he should not be anywhere close to public transportation, he is dangerous to the society behind the wheel!!!! We’re thankful we got to keep our teeth.

The big bus was good until our driver hit a parked car @ navy pier, then we had to wait over 20 minutes for another bus. Also that same driver was not good @ saying the history of the city. Should have used the pre-recordings, they did a better job!

Disappointing bus tour
Ruby_V

The tour bus left us stranded on our stop, tried to call customer service no answer, then the guide scanned our evening tour without asking , and she refused to change the date. The next day , Sept 5, the bus didn’t stop on one of the stops so we didn’t get to see it. We want a partial refund. Very disappointed. I will not recommend this tour at all, the drivers are not knowledgeable about the city’s history too.

Make sure you get address

We had some trouble. No address and called in. Placed many messages. None of them replied. Called Viator and was given the information. We found the address and asked around where to load. Overall, the tour was a great experience.

Not all buses are wheelchair accessible
rachelle_b

The website claims wheelchair accessible, however we were forced to walk (and roll) across town back to our hotel when one of the buses had a ramp that did not work. The employee brushed this off “with her years of experience” that it was hot a big deal he could still get on. I don’t blame her for her ignorance, the proof showed itself as we attempted with her help. You don’t know until you live it each day. In the big scheme of things our one encounter does not stop the thousand others from riding. But knowing this was a possibility before we got too far from our hotel being left without another option would have been nice to know upfront.

Route covered the most important points in Chicago. Would like an inclusion of Chinatown if possible.

Better with good weather

Buses were on time and commentary was decent though pre-recorded and a bit silly. Live commentary is preferred. The wrap in the buses made it impossible to take pics from the bottom level of the bus but the rain prevented being on the upper level. Need to have clear view out windows in lower level.

Sit on the top section of the bus on beautiful days!

The drivers are so cool! Make sure you book the tour in English language! Bring sun glasses because you will be looking up a lot! I small sun hat would work too if you’re going to be sitting on top! If you can’t hear what’s said, just politely as the operator to turn up the volume and they’ll be happy to do so! Have plenty of memory on your camera because you will be recording A LOT!
