The Elafonisi Beach, Falasarna Beach and Vouves Village tour was the best!

We had 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 11 and 12) go on this tour. We all loved it! This tour exceeded all of our expectations! Christine was an amazing tour guide, very informative. She has lived in Crete her whole life, so she is very knowledgeable about Crete and Greek history. We couldn’t decide which beach we liked more, there are great things about each one. The snack box was perfect…everyone of us enjoyed it! It was nice not having to worry about packing food and drinks on this trip. We also, loved stopping in Vouves village. It’s nice to see a part of the country side and also to see the oldest olive tree in the world! I think my son ate most of the bread with olive oil at the tasting. My daughter really loved the Greek language lesson on the way home from the village. The tour guide and the driver were both great and we would highly recommend this tour.

We loved this tour. Christine was our tour guide and she was wonderful. Friendly and knowledgeable; we were very satisfied with the information/insight she provided and the tour overall.
One of the best aspects of this tour was that it took us to Elafonisi beach first, and early, meaning we got there before the other tours arrived, giving us a chance to see the beach (and grab an umbrella/bed) before it was overcome with people, and the beds/umbrellas were snapped-up.
Being so famous, Elafonisi gets VERY busy, and there were zero umbrellas/beds free when we left at 12, with many families sitting in full sun waiting for beds to free-up. The sun is intense and I don’t know what we would have done if we had come later and could not get an umbrella.
The tour group was small, giving more opportunity for questions, and more flexibility on time at each location (and although it didn’t happen on our tour, it also means there are fewer people who could lose track of time and delay departure).
It was a big day (~11 hours from pick up to drop off) but well worth it. We will be recommending this tour to everyone we know who plan to come to Crete.
