4 Cenote Experience Casa Tortuga from Cancun

I went on this tour in January after doing a snorkeling tour at a coral reef the day before. This was much better. The water was crystal clear and not cloudy like it was at the reef. Much calmer atmosphere with great lunch and an awesome guide named Leon. I definitely recommend this event.

Our tour initially had a rough start because there was an issue with the tour guide not having received the funds to pay for our entries into Tulum and the Cenotes. I've booked many tours through Viator and I've never had this issue, so my first thought was that I was being scammed. After calling customer service and getting everything straighted out, Viator's guide made sure to meet the tour guide for the funds and then allowed us entry into the 2nd cenote for our troubles. Again, I wasn't sure how to react since I was traveling with a family of 7, but after it was all handled timely and professionally I'm happy to say that this tour was the BEST tour we booked during our stay in Cancun. The Tulum ruins are nice-it's a quick walk and a quick dip in the ocean. We took grapes and bananas to feed the many giant lizards that live there. The best part was the cenotes. Such beautiful and serene water, totally unbelievable. We caught a few snorkelers coming back from their dives also. We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant along with delicious food and awesome service. The place treated us like family. Victor, our tour guide, was excellent! I originally misjudged him because of the hiccup but I'm happy to say he was great. He was chatty, friendly, knowledgeable and had a contagious laugh. He ate with us, swam with us, even dove into the cenotes with us! Great man!!!

It was a four hour for us, but it was worth it. The van picked us up at our hotel on time. Our guide was beyond amazing. I really loved how well he explain everything

First, the good things: Coincidentally I was the only person who booked this tour that day, but instead of canceling, they honored my reservation and took me on what ended up becoming a private tour, which was really nice of them. This was the only group tour I was able to find that had the Tulum Dos Ojos combo, and Dos Ojos was absolutely beautiful - you can see stalagmites under the water, and the guide let me borrow a waterproof flashlight, which was key. The guide who was also the driver was very kind and considerate, and he kept an eye on me while snorkeling. Lunch was at a restaurant inside the Dos Ojos compound, and unlike usual tourist-y places, the food was great. Con: This isn't a GUIDED tour of Tulum as it says on the description, it's a self-guided tour of Tulum. The guide stayed outside while I went in, and I really didn't learn much about Tulum. The guide didn't volunteer much information through the whole tour, so I had to keep asking questions in order to get information. So if you are someone who doesn't like having your ears talked off by guides, this might be good. But if you are looking for a true guided tour with lots of information, not sure if this is the right one.

This was a great excursion. We were picked up on time from our hotel,Riu Cancun and it was just us so we had the minibus to ourselves. Our guide was very polite and pleasant and did not talk too much which I liked. Tulum is a beautiful setting and well worth a visit. We explored by ourselves and there are pleanty of information boards at each building explaining the history of the Mayas and the functions of the buildings.We then went on to the cenote swim which was very refreshing and masks and snorkels were provided. If you can, I definitely think you should include a cenote swim if you are visiting the Yucatan. Lunch was a full hot meal and I chose the fish tacos which were excellent. The resturant also served a drink can't remember the name that contained coconut milk, carnation and cinnamon. It was delicious! We then headed back to Cancun and arrived at our hotel at about 3.45 pm so still time to enjoy the restof the day.

We were picked up on time. Our group was small (6 adults, 1 child). Leon was very nice (although quiet). We were able to explore Tulum at our own pace. Leon stayed with us at Dos Ojos Cenote and was very patient with those of us that were slower. Lunch was a real meal at Dos Ojos. Highly recommend!

Great day. Leon is a great tour guide. Easy day trip with kids. Lasts about 6.5 hours.

Leon is the best! I loved being on the tour with him. You weren't dragged around in sweltering heat listening to useless information, but rather you got to choose where you went, how fast you went, and what you did. Please give Leon amazing praise.

amazing... we were just 3 people in total, and the guide was very knowledgeable.

We did the Tulum and Cenote tour with our family, two adults and two kids, and got a private tour since no one else was signed up for that day. Our driver and guide was Leon and he was very nice, courteous and professional. We toured Tulum by ourselves while Leon waited outside. Tulum was great, but not as exciting as Chichen Itza was which we did two years ago also a Viator tour. The Cenotes snorkeling was cool. Also a great spot, not too many other people there, so it felt less touristy. After Tulum and cenotes, Leon took us to a local restaurant for a lunch. Delicious food! Not a brown bag lunch which was given on the Chichen Itza -tour. Definitely worth the money.
