Good fun and drinks

I booked this trip to celebrate my 30th birthday. My friends and I had a great time on the boat. It was great having the whole boat and crew to ourselves. They crew and staff were very friendly and welcoming, keeping the drinks coming and offering to take our pictures. They also got in the water and helped show my friends how to use the paddle board. We all had a great time

Magical afternoon

We loved every minute of our catamaran trip to the sandbar. While the logistic of getting picked up and transported to Puerto Morelos were a bit challenging, once we got there we went immediately to the boat and set sail for the sandbar. The drinks flowed and we had a great time chatting with the other guests. We anchored and spent about an hour swimming and enjoying the water. A box lunch followed and then we sailed back. What a relaxing afternoon. Highly recommended.

This was a great tour. The driver picked us up on time. We arrived at the marina, and check in was quick and easy. There were only 6 of us on the tour, plus the crew. We sailed to the sandbar and had a blast. All in all, it was great

My family thoroughly enjoyed this experience. What a wonderful way to end our vacation in Cancun. The crew was very attentive. Very relaxing to watch the coast line as we headed to the sandbar. Next time we will be sure to include this at least once during our stay.

Hotel pickup was on time, in a well air-conditioned Mercedes Van. The 30 minute trip was a touch off-putting, as you wind back down a long narrow jungle driveway to arrive at a very random looking resort. Once there, we just kinda had to stand around and wait on start time, as we were a little early. However, once we got on the boat, it was AWESOME. The captain Martin was fun, and the photographer and the bartender Alfredo were great. They took excellent care of us. The ride out to the sandbar was relaxing and gorgeous. The "sandbar" was really a shallow spot - I could touch, my wife couldn't! But they had a large floating pad that was nice to lounge on and have cold beer in the sunshine. If felt like being in a Corona commercial! The lunch was an ok sandwich and chips, and wasn't served until the way back in, so eat breakfast and pack snacks. Would definitely recommend this trip!

Relaxing VIP Day on the Adelita catamaran!
I9013IMnancya
, Sep 2019
We thoroughly enjoyed our day out on the catamaran, Adelita. We were picked up at our hotel, and the van ride was about 25 minutes from our Cancun resort in the zone Hotelera to the La Bonita marina. Ended up being just two couples so it felt more like a private chartered sail through the Gulf, overlooking massive new resort construction along the coast. Our crew was Jose and Juan, and they were laid back but very attentive and friendly! Juan kept us hydrated with cocktails and bottled water. When we arrived at the sandbar, we jumped in and Juan took photos of us in the water, and made us more drinks, brought us sunglasses, while we frolicked in the water. They also had a play pad, that you can lay on, or use a drink ledge :) Once we got tuckered out playing i the water, we got back on board, and were greeted with a warm smile, towels, waters and a prepared lunch which consisted of a turkey and mozzarella sandwich, chips, apple, and of course more drinks! I laid my towel o the catamaran floor to sunbathe and dry off, and Juan ran over with a pillow to place under my head, how thoughtful! They really nailed it with the little touches and paying attention to their guests. The music was contemporary pop, and some Caribbean tunes like Bob Marley, while paired perfectly with the warm breeze as we headed back with the sails up on the catamaran! Upon arriving back to the dock, they unrolled our shoes on the deck and we were greeted by the land staff with a smile. We tipped generously, although there was never mention of it by the crew, which is typical in Mexico to be solicited for a 'propina'., We walked along the beautiful area back to the office, which included bathroom and shower facilities. I would highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a relaxing low key day without big crowds. Only one complaint, but after such a VIP experience, they were a driver short, and we had to take the other couple in the opposite direction by 20 minutes, which resulted in a 40 minute round trip detour for us. The driver felt bad and expressed his apologies, so we didn't hold it against him and still tipped him, as he did his best to be efficient and he returned us safely back to our resort, which we really appreciated!

DON'T GO - IF YOU WANT YOUR THINGS STOLEN
juangho93
, Sep 2019
I'll cut straight to the case. We parked at the sandbar, where my girlfriend and I decided to jump into the ocean. I thought something was fishy happening, back at the boat. So I went back up the ladder quietly and I caught one of the workers going through our stuff!!! From that point on I just stayed at the boat. We ended the boat ride early. The worker who was going through our stuff was named Alfredo. Don't go unless you want your things stolen! Luckily, i caught them. I tried to call management but, no help at all.
