Short fun excursion

If you're looking for a short fun excursion for couple hours, I do recommend this tour. Please do note that when driving the speedboat they will only let you drive in a straight line behind the tour guide. They'll stop the tour if you start driving in a slight curve even going in the same route. We got there 10 mins before the excursions and was told that were were late. There was no email or anything that mentioned we had to be there way earlier to sign waivers, life jackets, and snorkeling gear ready to leave at the departure time.

Omar and staff were all great! Speedboat was amazing and snorkeling locations had some good sea life. Wish we could’ve had assistance or other options for those who are weak swimmers so just be aware that not everything is shallow. Remember there is an additional docking/reef protection fee so be prepared with cash for the day of. We rented a car and parked in their parking lot and when we came back one of our tires was deflated. Could’ve been totally unrelated and parking is open to such situations all over Cancun so just try to park close to the front or take a taxi. Otherwise the trip and experience alone was awesome and would recommend!

Terrible communication - book, but not with Viator

Good tour - would recommend, but don't book with Viator because it lacked in communication. Hard time finding if a storm would cancel our trip, didn't know which location to go (instructions had two very different addresses), and was generally frustrating. We're both bilingual and navigate Cancun easily, but this was like we had to pull teeth to get anyone to confirm anything. For example, torrential downpour 2 hrs before launch time, and we couldn't find out if it was cancelled despite calling every number in the listing and confirmation (turns out they only cancel if the Gov closes the port, which would have been super helpful to know). Just horrible communications, which might be Viator's fault too. Once we arrived, the tour was nice, and the guides and staff were great.

Experience was great! Cebe was our guide, provided clear instructions and was very fun and helpful. I couldn’t swim so he took me around the entire reef, so I really appreciated all the attention he gave me to make sure I had a good experience! Only thing is I wish there was more to see, the reefs are nice but I was expecting better. But overall we were provided all equipment and had an amazing time! First time for both me and my mom!

This was an amazing experience for us. We were in Cancun for two weeks and took this tour three times! Each guide was fantastic and added to the experience. It might be worth buying your own snorkel as the one provided is very basic. We will certainly do it again and highly recommend it!

Don't trust these people!

I booked this trip and they confused me about hotel pick up. The day before the trip I contacted the operator to confirm the hotel pick up. I was told there was no hotel pick up and I had to meet at an address. I am a tourist I don't know where things are so I asked the operator for info how to get to this address. The operator did not want to deal with me and said $67 US for pick up. I cancelled the trip and it was confirmed cancelled. They still charged me anyway. I would not trust these people.
