Wonderful and well worth it!

I truly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guides went out of their way to go into full detail about the Mayan culture and civiliazation while on the bus and in the village. Swimming in the cenote was scary at first but very fun once inside the water. You have life vests so don’t worry if you can’t swim! I highly recommend this group!

Wonderful tour included a stop in a colonial town, Chichen Itza, lunch buffet and cenote. We went during the Covid-19 pandemic and Amigo tours certainly kept it safe (mandatory masks, hand sanitizer provided, etc). Special shout out to our guide Antonio and bus driver Jesus for making our trip memorable and safe!

Mayan Exploration

Our guide was very informative and he made the trip really memorable. However, we got put in a group with these 20 somethings who refused to follow the guide inside Chichen Itza and stopped at every little stall or table along the way. We had to wait so many times while they were shopping that we were not really able to see as much as we should have seen. It was not our tour guide's fault or the fault of the park guide but it really was awful and we lost valuable time inside Chichen Itza. It was a great way to experience 3 very different places in one day. I just wish we had free time inside the park. I choose this particular trip because the description said 90 min with a tour guide and 90 min to explore on your own.

Dear Amanda Right now in Chichen Itza the time is a little less due to the Covid situation to maintain a safe capacity, however, we greatly appreciate your valuable comments. Tracy, Amigo Tours.

Safe, Friendly, and Fun Excursion

Marco is a fantastic tour guide and Elli is a great driver. Chichen Itza is absolutely gorgeous and it would've sucked without a tour guide. There are a lot of people trying to sell you chintzy souvenirs, I'm sure some of the stuff is decent. We arrived at the perfect time--there was hardly anyone there. The buffet was good, I don't eat meat but they still had a few good options for me. I don't think it's vegan friendly, but you could ask. The cenote is AMAZING and it wasn't super cold. It was refreshing. The water is super clean. Everyone on my tour wore a mask and followed the rules. I felt safe the whole time. Thank you Marco and Elli for a wonderful excursion.
