Connect with your guide in the morning at a central meeting point in downtown Canmore. Snack on a tasty wrap provided by your tour leader as you get an introduction to the day’s activity and the surrounding mountains.

Enjoy some locally-sourced foodstuffs during your first stop, sampling a variety of beer, wine, salads, and flatbreads. Among the offerings is a taste of bison meat raised in the Alberta province. Then head to a nearby “hidden gem” venue, where you’ll enjoy great views of the mountains while snacking on more sweet and savory treats.

Continue to your next venue, offering a taste of Alberta beef cooked using typical Brazilian-style barbecue techniques, before finishing with a tasting stop at one more local venue. You’ll finish within a half block of your original starting point.

Foodies on a Food Tour
, Jun 2019
There was a nice balance of food and drinks. The pizza was great. The desert was a bit small. It was hot for June and although learning about the different gardens it was hard to be outside in the direct sun for that long.

Dear brianm, Thank you very much for taking the time to lend us this review. I am very glad that you enjoyed the balance of food and drinks - especially that pizza. We love it too. While the truffle tasting is small, we sincerely hope you enjoy the chocolate bar you got to take home - loaded with the locally roasted Rave coffee and Jacqueline Jacek's fine chocolate. I have noted your concern about the time outside. We do let our guests know to be prepared for all seasons (even in one day) but it's easy to get caught off guard when mother nature turns up the heat in our mountain town. Thank you again for joining us. I truly appreciate your support of our small business, all our partners and our wonderful guides. With gratitude, Karen Anderson President and CEO, Alberta Food Tours, Inc
