A great tour, as some others mentioned it was a bit cheesy, but it was a unique way to see the pyramids and Sphinx all lit up at night, which I really enjoyed. The story that they told was also interesting because it tied the history of the Pyramids together very nicely It explained why they were built and who they were built for, and it went through the history of some of the major historical figures who visited the pyramids through the years, which really gives you an impression of how ancient they are and how incredible it is to stand before them at night yourseld. It does get chilly at night, so bring a jacket.

Our guide Mohamed picked us up from the hotel and along with his driver, sorry I can't remember his name, expertly maneuvered the rush hour Cairo traffic to get us to the venue on time to see the show. Mohamed also made sure we were seated in the proper section to experience each element of the show. Having the Sphinx tell the history of the pyramids along with the light show was wonderful.This was a great way of kicking off our first day in Cairo.

Nothing wrong with our guide etc however this show wasn't really for us. Didn't help that it was so cold and dusty...so recommend a scarf etc.
