All inclusive Tour Giza pyramids,Sphinx Sakkara,Dahshuh,Memphis,Camel Ride,Lunch

The day tour covers the important sites and we'd generally recommend it. Personally, we'd prefer more time visiting the pyramids in the Giza complex than riding the camels, as the staff were moneygrubbers who don't really take good care of the animals.

I highly recommend this tour. The ancient sites are well protected by the Tourism Police, which makes it intimidating and hard to see independently. Some sites can only be accessed by tour companies, and they are well worth the price. The sites are also far apart, and I do not recommend trying to drive in Cairo if you are just visiting. It's madness. Having a good guide and driver made a world of difference, and allowed us to relax and view the sites without stressing out. Overall, our tour was great! We were picked up at our hotel by our driver Ahmed, and our guide Zenab in a comfortable minivan. Bottled water was provided. Zenab gave a nice speech about Cairo as we drove out to Dahshur. The drive was about an hour with traffic Ahmed was a very skilled and safe driver, and Zenab made the drive pleasant and interesting by sharing information about the city and the various sites. At Dahshur we saw the Bent Pyramid from a distance, and the Red Pyramid from up close. We went inside the pyramid, which was interesting, although the air was very stale, and made breathing a bit difficult. Our guides warned us ahead of time about the physical difficulties involved. Then we went to Memphis, which is an open air museum with fascinating artifacts, and a giant statue of Ramses 2. Around the perimeter are many vendors with cute, cheap souvenirs they like to bargain, and will be a bit aggressive, but will back off if you say no and walk away. Then we went to Sakkara. This is a much larger site, with the Step Pyramid, and the ruins of old chapels. Here we went inside Titi Pyramid, which has exquisite hieroglyphic carvings inside. After Sakkara we had some time before lunch, so we visited the papyrus store. Here they showed us how to make papyrus, and we bought some excellent quality prints on papyrus. Our local guide/ saleswoman was very nice, if a little pushy about sales. There is no obligation to buy, but it feels awkward to just look while they press bargains on you. Then lunch was ready at a nearby restaurant. Zenab stayed close, but left us to enjoy our set-menu lunch in peace. We had a nice lentil soup, some green salads, and chicken and beef kebabs, with orange slices for dessert. After lunch we hit the Giza pyramids. By this time the morning fog had lifted, allowing for the best viewing. We had a fun camel ride down the slope, and wandered around the pyramids and the Sphinx. Here there are very aggressive vendors, who will follow you around if you show the slightest interest. We wished we could have spent more time here but the day is a very full one, and it's hard to fit everything in. We would gladly have traded more time at the pyramids in exchange for skipping the next stop. Our final stop left a bad taste in my mouth. It was the perfume and essences store, where we were treated to tea and a long lesson/ sales pitch about the virtues of essences as aromatherapy. It was interesting, but it took an hour, and was clearly an aggressive sale. When our local guide wandered off to let us consult, we researched his store and found horrible reviews claiming that the products he sells are incredibly watered down and diluted, very different from the products he demonstrates with. I wish our guides had not taken us to a store known for ripping off its customers. Overall though, the day was great. We got some amazing pictures and learned a lot about Egyptian history and Cairo. My last complaint is a minor one: the van did not have WiFi. I never would complain about this, except that it is specifically advertised as having WiFi, which was a plus since data is expensive internationally.

I saw every sight mentioned in the program which is really a lot. Some pyramids are able to enter. Very friendly guide and driver.

I chose this tour as it has all the main attractions included plus a 30 minute camel ride!!! And it really is a very very enjoyable tour. This tour started with a pick up at my hotel at 8am. Then we headed to Giza for the Great Pyramid, followed by the really fun camel ride, and then a visit to the Sphinx. We then went over to Sakkara for the step pyramid, and then to Dahshur for the bent pyramid and red pyramid and lastly to Memphis. My guide for the tour, Michael, is really knowledgeable and informative. He's really thorough in his explanation and patient in answering my queries. Optional tour to the papyrus and perfume shop was available but I did not take them up. Definitely recommend this tour for everyone who wish to see the pyramids.

We had a GREAT experience with Mouhamed Osama the tour guide and Achmed our driver. Mouhamed's knowledge is incredible accurate and well presented, his English flawless and sophisticated. We recommend this trip to anybody how considers taking it.

Excellent Tour! Guide was Ahmed who did a great job! He was very professional and spoke very good English. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He also took some very interesting and humourous photos. Car with driver and guide came on time for an 8 am pick-up from my hotel. A bottle of water was provided during the tour. Tour itinerary was to Saqqara, Dahshur, Memphis, lunch at Giza, Papyrus Institute, Giza Pyramids, and cotton shop. I declined going to the essence shop. Lunch was delicious and the restaurant had an amazing view of the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. I was back to my hotel room by 1600 hr. I highly recommend this tour.

I really enjoyed this tour. Probably the best tour I did in Egypt. A very well paced complete tour to the pyramids. The guide Zeinab was very nice and informative.

Had a fabulous tour with Ashraf and driver Moustafa. It was good to have a tour that was all inclusive in that I was seeking to see the historical sights and the camel ride and lunch was included as well! Ashraf was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot! During the tour I was taken to an air conditioned papyrus store where it was demonstrated how Papyrus is made, which was a nice break from the heat! Lunch was delicious and top notch! I had a small issue with a purchase I made during the tour and he was very attentive with my issue and did everything in his power to resolve the issue I had, and it was successfully resolved due to his assistance. He was a great tour guide and would definitely recommend!
