Ramzy rocks!!

The whole tour was memorable specially seeing the ancient sites!! I can see the genius of humankind from the tombs and temples they built then moving some of these giant structures! But it was Our guide Ramzy who made it all interesting and easy to understand! He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions! He was also very helpful with our needs like getting a last minute sleeping car to Cairo!!! We would love to have Ramzy as our guide again when we come back!! We give Ramzy five stars!!

Our cruise was very lovely and the cities/temples/places we visited were very nice. Our tour guide, Ismail is the best! Besides teaching us a lot about Egypt and the temples, he is the nicest, most patient and pleasant tour guide who taught us many Arabic words as well! It was a perfect trip!

Great experience for first time visitors!

Starting in Cairo and throughout the extent of our trip, we were constantly kept up to date on status of reservation by the team. Agent kept us informed on status of pickups, upgrades, meetup points, and covid test requirements. Our guide, Ahmed Elsayed, was always accommodating and knowledgeable on various aspects of the history of the region and temples we visited. He always made sure we had enough information to be prepared for the event at hand The cruise was amazing. Great food and amazing staff! Rooms were large and comfortable with great views of the Nile at all times. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and we may tag along a second time (albeit different activities) when we return to Egypt.

As it was my first time in Egypt, and my first organized tour by a travel agency, I am highly satisfied with the experience they gave me and my boyfriend! Everything was safe and well planned! We took a train from Cairo and got off in Luxor, because finally we did a contrary program, so in this case we finished it in Aswan. The boat was breathtaking. It was clean, the food was delicious, the whole stuff was really kind. Our tour guide was Ahmed Ramzy, who did a lot for us, and helped in any kind of situation. He became our friend and a temporary "father" also, without him I think we wouldn't solved the problems we'd had. He did extra programs for us besides this one to make our visit perfect and much more from what we'd expected. We loved every second of it!

Awesome places, best tourguide, marvellous landscapes

The most important thing first (since I know that no one reads long reviews): Take long clothes, a blanket, and something to cover your face (like a scarf or towel) with you for the train because they try to freeze you to death with the AC. Doing this trip was the best decision we could possible make. The archaeological sites are amazing, well preserved and it's just a crazy feeling that you get when you walk on these areas. With our tour guide Hany Soliman we also had the best company. He gave us the most important information on the place and the people who build and used it and then gave us time to explore the place on our own. We could always ask him when we had questions and he always took the time to respond to every single on of them. We never had the feeling that we didn't get enough information and it was also never too much so we couldn't listen anymore. It was very well balanced. He also always tried to find a solution if we had some special needs. For example, I did not want to use the horse carriage (because I don't want to support animal abuse, I really hope the booking agancy reconsideres supporting this kind of cruelty) and Hany found a solution for me in just a few minutes. I am still so thankful for that. Also away from the tours, Hany was always there for us. It actually didn't really feel like visiting a site with a tour guide, it was more like traveling with a friend who gives you a lot of information about the places. The boat was also good, the cabines were clean and the staff was very friendly and quick in solving your requests. The food was good, even for me as a vegan there were always good options (steemed vegetables and potatoes as well as a big salad buffet were always there) - if not, they prepared something for me within minutes and I did not even have to ask for it, they were prepared for it. It was just one time when we went to Abu Simbel where we got breakfast packages where they did not the concept of veganism, they packed me cream cheese sandwiches. But we also found a solution for that, I got some plain sandwiches with jam and some bananas. All in all I can't say anything negative about this experience, I totally recommend it to everyone.

Great cruise and tour; a lot of haggling

Ahmed is a great tour guide, funny with great energy. Honest guy, cruise was nice as well. Egyptian food is great; other cuisines not so much. I’d recommended eating at authentic Egyptian places to make the trip worth while. Get ready to haggle

Great tour!

I had such a great time on this cruise! I was traveling alone which is always a bit scary but I felt very safe and cared for. My guide Hany Soliman was amazing, so knowledgeable and fun to be around. The sights were unbelievable, the boat and the food were great, and I highly recommend this tour! As an FYI, the overnight bus rides are definitely long (10-14hrs), so that’s something to keep in mind when planning for this! You can always fly instead, also.

Staff ready to help us with our personal problems

I've never been in a 5 star hotel, but our room was better than we expected after reading the reviews. The food was unbelievable amazing (we had breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner), the beds were comfortable, we had a bathtub, a nice view and everything was clean and comfortable. There was also a swimming pool with a bar on the roof top. The staff from the cruise was really nice and joyfull As we went during a bad storm and also in the begging of the Covid-19 crisis, we had some problems. Our tour had to be postponed 1 day because the government cancelled all the trains due to the bad weather. As I had a flight back home in the last day from cairo, Love Egypt helped me to arrange a flight from Aswan to Cairo, transport to the airport and all the support to make me feel comfortable. My friends had to buy a new flight in the last day and they needed to take a train earlier than scheduled, so the agency also arranged it for them, with all transports necessary. Even with all the problems, we received a really good support from the company to help us with everything we needed, even tho it was not their obligation to arrange all these extra services for us. Our first guide, Gada, was really nice and knowledgeable. As she was pregnant, she could not join us in the cruise, but we met other nice guides at the following cities. I can't thank you enough for the experience and all the support you provided! It was an unforgettable time for us

A German Nile Cruise for our English group of five.....
John_D

This package was extremely good value so if you are looking for an inexpensive trip this can work. We booked this package as it included the day trip to Abu Simbel (a must if you go to southern Egypt) and the train to and from Cairo. Great value!!! Unfortunately, communications in advance of the trip were vague, repetitive and not very helpful. Pick ups were late both in Cairo and Aswan. We were really looking forward to the Nile cruise part after Abu Simbel but, unfortunately, we were put on a German ship with two German tour groups. In addition, we then followed the itinerary of the German tour groups. These groups had already gone to Edfu so we did NOT go to Edfu (which was supposed to be one of the best preserved ruins in all of Egypt) and was on our itinerary. No explanation or apology for changing the itinerary or putting us on a German ship. We did go to Esna instead which was fascinating but not convinced it was better than Edfu. Our tour guide for Aswan, Philae Kom Ombo, Esna, Karnak and Luxor was the same person and she was excellent. Same for our driver and the minivan they drove us around in. So if the cruise is important to you, look for other suppliers that will tell you in advance what ship you will be on and what group you will be with. If not, this package is excellent value to cover almost all of the key sites in Southern Egypt.

Great way to see many sights in a short time in upper Egypt

Overall this was a great experience. The best part was our guide, Ramzy. My advice to western travelers is to adjust your expectations a little. You get no choice on the boat you will be assigned, and the boat we were on was a little shabby and undergoing a few minor renovations while we were passengers, which meant we had to move cabins (which was no big deal). The liquor from the bar was half water, so we stuck to bottled beer. The food was outstanding and there were plenty of choices for us (one vegetarian one pescatarian). The outings to different sights were very well organized and enjoyable, and again, our guide was knowledgeable and very proud of the history of his country. We were well taken care of from the beginning to the end. Paying for our sleeper train tickets became a little complicated, I would hope that in the future viator will make this a smoother transaction for tourists, but we had very good communication with love Egypt tours, so everything worked out. So a few little hiccups, but overall a good value for the money, and our guide Ramzy was terrific and so accommodating. This is coming from a couple (f 39, m 43) who like to globe-trot, and typically do NOT do organized tours, and we were overall very satisfied with is portion of our Middle East adventure.
